I'll say it again... even if you feel that way does it excuse Mayweather's outright ignorance with regard to the subject he's trying to talk about?

Bottom line, if there is to be a fight, there will be tests, period! Couple quick questions to people saying that Mayweather is using the tests as an excuse to get out of the fight, how did Floyd know Pacquiao was going to say no to the tests originally? Why not just call his bluff? Why did Arum and company walk away from negotiations when Floyd countered with "14 days" the first time around? Why did Arum and company announce the 3rd Marquez-Pacquiao fight a full 6 months before the fight (a mere 1 week after the Mosley fight)? Why did they make sooo many excuses on why not to take the tests? Again, how did he know Pac was going to say NO?? I don't think Floyd is a psychic, I'm sure you guys don't either.

BTW, I am not convinced Pacquiao is on something, I actually believe he's clean, BUT I always ask myself, why the hell did he and his camp act so ****** about the request? There actions is what made so many people su****ious, and I could see how. I like Pac, but I can't stand Arum. He's been milking him so bad.

And Pac has stated on video that he agreed to take the test. Arum put a countdown timer on toprank.com waiting for floyd to accept the fight. What did Floyds camp do? They said negotations never happened. HBO's Greenburg told up they did exposing Floyd and his camp as being a bunch of liars.

The facts are this- The Pac-Floyd fight was a done deal before the Clottey fight until Floyd asked for OSDT, something he has no authority to ask for.

Pac agreed to the tests and Floyds camp said negoitations never happened.

Floyd says "Pacquiao, your next!" and "Take the test and we'll fight." and Pac has gone on record saying he'll take the test before, during and after the fight and now Floyd says, "I contradict myself all the time.

To sum it up, there is only one camp thats preventing this fight from happening and it aint Pacquiao's. Pacquiao and Top Rank have been ready for over 2 years to make this fight happen.
I think both are to blame. Pacquiao can say yes to the tests all he wants, but if it's not in writing, whats the point? Pacquiao's advisor came out recently and said that they have never agreed to the tests up until the day of the fight, so Pac's camp contradicts themselves too. And Floyd said he was going to ask for random tests before negotiations even started. He was lenient at first, but now it's up until the day of the fight, or there won't be a fight period.

they handled it like amatuers...which is what they are! case in point; their finances. pacquiao is great in the ring and does lots of good things for people, but anytime a conmen like koncz and arum are around, there's going to be idiocy

guys, be prepared.. i think we are getting the very first inkling of a new reason 'to not fight pac' from these *****s.. "FINANCES"..sooner or later they'd refine it again to an 'art' in ***** reasoning and it will be their next mantra.. just you wait.. :rotflmao:

Floyd going from the Chavez TKO @ 130 to the Hatton TKO @ 147 was 10 fights and six years apart.

Manny going from the Marquez SD @ 130 to the De La Hoya TKO @ 147 was 2 fights less than 9 months apart.

Keep in mind that 3 out of the last 5 fights at 130 for Pacquiao were dec, which included a natural 122 pound fighter. Morales was weight drained and shot so he quit, and Solis actually rated out Gamboa's power as greater compared to Manny. When he made the jump, he stopped four straight larger guys with better than average chins in the game. That's why some are arguably su****ious of his rapid success above 130, because the way it happen doesn't seem as natural as you would perceive it to be.

Two different threads same subject, no sense in wasting time rewriting.
