****Time to 2:00 victor flurries and hits floyd with a barrage of punches to floyd's face. 2:16 floyd shakes his head to say I'm good but you got me there boy. Happened all when he was trapped on the ropes. SWEET! ****
*** time 2:19 vicious punch 2:25, 2:26 all good lethal shots. Clean crisp. Got to love it. 2:41, 2:43 mark ,right on the money.
And if you noticed Floyd hitting victor's gloves most of the fourth. Victors high guard frustrated floyd. Victor was clearly winning that round before he turned into a pitbull and head butted lol
Just saying 4th was definitely an ortiz round, and the tide was clearly shifting only if victor kept his composure we would have gotten a good fight.
It's called temperament. Like a pitbull who lost a leash he goes deranged and attacks. Victor's old trainer said he is weak minded. He loses control. He was like a nasty dog who got his leash removed and went nutts in the ring.
It's like a dog. His kind of bread is unstable and has the tendency to bite or go nasty. Like tyson was. He gets crazy when frustrated, hence the balrog head butt. But if he was stable and in control of his head he would realize he was winning the fourth round. It's all in the breading. Some are stallions some are crazy mutts.
We could have had a good match here. It was shaping up to be an interesting fight until floyd cheap shoted his way to victory.
#####If it was the pacman (the p4p champ) doing that flurry it's academic pac will finish him good for sure. Ain't rocket science. Simple really a "B" class fighter like ortiz got floyd good at the ropes what more if pac was doing it. If it makes sense it must be true.#######

His mind was not in it, and he was getting hit flush ALL DAY LONG. He didn't have to resort to dirty tactics, and he got what he had coming.
You initiate foul play in the fight, you gotta' expect it back.
You can't just act like that headbutt was an accident, and say "I'm sorry."
Floyd had every right to do what he did.
Now once and for all, get over it.
God, Floyd won. Get over it.
Let's not act like Ortiz was even remotely in the this fight, because that was CLEARLY not the fn case!Last edited by Squizz; 09-21-2011, 02:56 AM.

I have never seen Floyd miss so much, combine that with his footwork looking uncoordintaed, the guy's time on top is limited. He was vulnerable on that night... but credit to Floyd he found a way to snake out a win.
Give Floyd *some* degree of credit!

Just a reminder your boxer is a human being not a demi god lol

If you think Ortiz received a beat down, than you have a very distorted view of reality. The fight was just about to really begin.

He landed way more than Floyd in the 4th including a decent body shot...and he probably won the 2nd...at least Lederman thought so had the headbutt not happened...would have had it tied after 4. It could have been a decent fight and maybe is worthy of a rematch. Ortiz would probably go into a rematch with a lot more confidence and experience.

Ortiz was doing a damn good job thought he won a close secound and was winning the fourth **** the first round was close.. floyd had the third hands down but ortiz was by no means being outclassed. He made floyd miss he landed on floyd and even pushed him back. Ppl talk about the headbutt but what about floyds sneaky elbow joe cortez always seems to miss.
