Seriously, Ortiz landed like 8 or 9 punches. Compubox having 7 isn't ridiculous. And Floyd easily outlanded him.

im guessing its suppossed to show that ortiz could land big shots, and how that would have been a factor later on in the fight had floyd not taken an illegal blow

bulking up with "time on his side" what a pathetic justification. ricky hatton said the exact same thing when he fought mayweather at welterweight when he supposedly didint get it right when he fought luis collazo and didint have a good showing. then roy jones had "time on his side" when he fought tarver a second time after struggling with the weight the first time.

It wouldn't have been a factor, because Ortiz would not and has never gotten stronger as a fight went on. Ortiz was getting smacked around even worse in round 4 than he was the first three, having Floyd on the ropes a couple of times doesn't show anything. None of the shots he landed in round 4 were even that big.

It's not about the whole 4 rounds it's about the fourth round only. And Ortiz was winning the fourth. He was fighting good in there before the fiasco broke lose. Yeah Floyd was good in the other rounds but clearly the fourth was a no brainer victor had that one in the bag before the head butt happened.

He was in the fight. I can even say the tide was shifting in his favor. That's all there is to it. It was a wasted fight. It could have been a great fight to watch.
