Larry Merchant is a bum and a disgrace to the sport. My dad don't even like the guy and they are from the same era. Merchant seems to allow boxers personalities to effect his opinion. He doesn't like arrogant fighters and gives them a hard time. This kind of bull**** is not journalism but bullying.

The sad thing is that BOTH Ortiz and Mayweather showed their complete lack of maturity after the fight. BOTH were smiling like idiots!!! Ortiz's immaturity makes sense coz of his age. But Floyd!! He had his arm around Merchant smiling and started promoting himself like nothing happened!! Then when he heard the wave of BOOs from the crowd, he completely went ballistic and took it out on Merchant!!! That made no sense coz Merchant wasn't in the middle of saying how Floyd was controlling the fight and being more aggressive, etc.

That's the problem with Floyd. The only time he is truly authentic is when he acts like a SPOILED BRAT! He looks so uncomfortable when he's acting any other way. It's all daddy issues, I'm telling you!

Floyd will never gain the sympathy that Tyson received because the huge difference between the two is that Mike is always genuine!! Mike possessed both good and bad to the extreme and people of all races saw it and saw themselves.
