Interesting, this is the first time I heard anyone from Ortiz's camp actually say they want a rematch. I would like to hear Ortiz say he wants a rematch himself (and say it with some emphasis dammit!). Floyd said after the fight he could get a rematch if he wanted it.

My point being they know Ortiz will get that a** whipped. They'll ask for it though so they can make some more money.

There was two apologies before Cortez brought them back into the ring to resume the action. The first was the hug and kiss before the point was deducted. The second was the tap glove as Cortez walked Ortiz around the ring. Then the third and final one was when the fight resumed which ended with Ortiz in la la land. Mayweather got his mouth busted by a headbutt because Ortiz wasn't capable of doing it with his hands. Mayweather called time on the BS legally and well within his rights.

What Floyd did was dirty. Was he not the one saying he'd enter the fight with class and leave with class? Real classy... Ortiz did make himself look like an idiot though - on two occasions(blatant ones, anyways). In the Face-Off with Max Kellerman, Floyd said "if you make any mistakes, you must pay". He paid in full.
I think Cortez needs to step down - that was some sloppy job he did...

Ortiz got ripped early in the round and, just like robert garcia predicted, he quit. That was his way out. It was a complete mental breakdown. The quitter launched his head like a missle.

The reason ortiz should thank floyd is by the controversial finish it allows team ortiz to hide the fact that their boy quit on the big stage once again. For that reason alone Ortiz will get another decent fight and another chance to get paid.

Ortiz's smile and response after the fight says it all. Who the f..k would be happy with a fight that they got ko'd in?

Glad to hear cause I couldn't watch anything to do with the fight after that. i only watched the interview in the ring and Ortiz just sat there and smiled like a b****. I'm kinda disappointed Floyd said he could get a rematch, cause I think they'll push the issue and we'll have to watch Ortiz get whipped all over again, reducing the chance even moreso of a fight between him and Pac

all that hard work and training by ortiz and garcia only for ortiz to drop his hands like a dumbass and get KTFO. 8 week training camp wasted.

What's wasted? I bet Ortiz is sitting in his room right now, counting millions of $ most of us will never see. Ortiz came in the fight, he blew it (not that he had any chances to begin with), and left with 2,5 mil $ in his pocket. It's a Win-Win for him, why would anybody complain about that KO? Unless he wants yet another 2,5 mil$ payday, that is.
