I guess the Fight was fixed.
Vince McMahon couldnt have scripted a better event.
Now I know why Ortiz was so happy and never got up and started being all happy after the fight, the fight was fixed, he probably bet on himself to lose in the 4th.
Looking back at that headbutt now, wow. Maybe this is the reason Ortiz got the fight in the first place? Floyd made him sign a contract to take a dive in the 4th

Didn't Pacquiao say he thought Victor would win because he sparred with Victor before and got his azz handed to him LOL. well as it turns out, Victor had no chance not even a punchers chance.. it was clear after the 3rd rd that Victor was well on his way to getting TKO'ed if not KO'ed.. Floyd is just on a different level.
But all jokes aside, I'm not so sure if Berto was really exaggerating about Ortiz being on some type of PED for their fight now, one of the very first things I noticed about Victor Saturday was his lack of muscle tone compared to the Berto fight, he was no where near as muscular and didn't appear to be as strong or punching as hard imo, I could be wrong.. but its just one of those things makes you go hmmmm?

I think Ortiz should recognize what´s best for him and undergo some sort of counseling before he takes another fight. For the record: part of me was expecting Floyd to win, and sort of "hoping" for Floyd to win so the chance - if there is any - of a Mayweather-Pacquiao megafight would be more likely to materialize. But deep down inside I was routing for the underdog Ortiz, because I like his back story and the way he behaved and handled the pre-fight pressure/ hype. He seemed very indifferent about Floyd´s trash talking etc... hell, he didn´t even react to Floyd grabbing his throat (!!!) during the weigh in. I thought "man, this kid´s confidence in himself must run deep..." Unfortunately all of my routing sympathy was transformed into head scratching confusion in the aftermath of what unfolded in the ring. Yes, Floyd was utilizing his accuracy and definitely outscoring Ortiz. But if you saw the post fight press conference, this is something that Ortiz´s camp had sort of anticipated, according to Danny Garcia, the game plan was to come on stronger and go to the body starting with the fifth. And I thought Ortiz was still in the fight. You always have a puncher´s chance! The reason we never saw how the fight would have gone is that Ortiz thrusted himself headfirst into Floyd´s lip (physically) and out of the fight (mentally). He cracked under pressure and delivered an ugly, irritating display of utmost immaturity. (By the way, he threw two consecutive punches after Joe Cortez stopped the bout after the headbutt, so much for "suckerpunching"). Watch it again. That headbutt, in terms of deliberately wanting to seriously damage your opponent´s health has got to be right up there with Mike Tyson´s ear biting incident. If Ortiz would have been disqualified, no one could have contested that, and the excessive hugging, kissing, Cortez "kind of" restarting the fight would have never happened. As brutal as Floyd´s knockout looked, I find Ortiz´s behavior to be much more disturbing in it´s entirety... the headbutt... the excessive excuses and kissing... the smiling after the fight... saying "it was fun" at the post fight press conference... IMO<- key phrase here! that should be much more the topic of discussion than the reflexive outcry about the resulting knockout. I still don´t approve of A LOT of his actions and behavior outside the ring, but it was NOT Floyd Mayweather who took the fight to the street level on Saturday.

Well I hope Ortiz gets the rematch
He was not that impressed with Jr the fighter
Said Berto was faster
Ortiz will surely have learned from this and a better strategy
IF you are gonna beat Jr:
1. you must push him back, that means you must have bad intentions.
if you don't have a punch you are beat
IF you have power then USE the **** !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Not in spots but BLITZ just not bum rush
Go to the body
OF COURSE JR is gonna have his way but if one works thru his way after a few rounds with hard shots then its the UNKNOWN ZONE just like OL ROG with Chavez both fights.
IF the rematch don't happen then there is :
ONLY ONE FIGHT LEFT
PAC vs JR !!!!!!
