there is no possible way to button mash tekken and get anywhere
in street fighter there are about 10 moves, most of which are assigned to a single button, now that's button mashing
also you cant even sidestep in street fighter, it's a crap game and ****** to compare to real life
and for the guy saying the games are completely different to real life, i box
tekken is not so different, you set you sht up basically the same way, wait for your openings, after you're done with your combo, either have teh strategy of staying on the inside(it depends on the opponent) or dash back or sidestep
its not going to teach you to fight, obviously, but the train of thought is basically the same, esspecially if your playing against another good player who is just as fluent in his moves, it's about outsmarting people
not like gay ass street fighter and who can do the most combo's, gay ass 2d piece of sht, srry, i take that back in my opinion, it sucks, it's obviously good since it's so popular, just dont like it personallyComment

you mad.terrible post.
your ****.ing ignorant and i can't express that enough. You think that tapping a few buttons equate to an actual match between to human beings. this is your post?
I have an honest suggestion buddy. seriously.
get off your ass, get some gloves and learn how to fight.
Games are NOTHING like real life.
I'm sorry but this is thee most ignorant post I have EVER read. Post this in arcade talk.
SF is a game Real life is real life!
yea this is exactly what i'm talking about. alot of the ideas are identical. reading opponents. setting them up for baits. punishing missed attacks. etc etc.and for the guy saying the games are completely different to real life, i box

LOL.....just look at EVO and youll see SF is still the dominat fighter out there. Nothing comes close. As for it being button smashing....far from it, zoning, ticks, frames, hit boxes, ect.....far from it, and my cousin whos a tekken 4 freak, played me and i beat him like 3 out of 10. He whipped me, but i had no idea what i was doing. We play SSF2T.....he went 0 and like i dont know, at least a dozen before we stopped against my Geif.there is no possible way to button mash tekken and get anywhere

We're just playing man, and I'm sure the TS doesn't actually think real fights are like a fighting game (although Virtua Fighter is getting real close). Just that the strategies are similar.
I just found it funny that Dudley's telling us that SF is not real.
In SF, Dudley's my fav character. It's fun to use a boxer (classy one at that) to smash up Ryu/Akuma in the arcades. His move list is pretty complete as a boxer goes. Still haven't figured out how to throw a two-punch while Ryu tries to hug me though
