Oh yeh I forgot it's always "racism!!!". It could never be that the guy is an actual douchebag right? I mean if you're black you get a free pass to act like an a$$hole? **** that noise.Comment

Actually....official scorecards show Floyd up two rounds to one after the third and he was going to get the fourth round as well, even without the deduction for the headbutt. OH..a quick question for you??? If Floyd's legs dipped....why did Ortiz feel the need to throw that huge ****in' head of his at Floyd? If you saw his legs dip, then I'm sure Ortiz did.Comment

This is complete and utter bull****.
Its not Mayweather's job or obligation to accommodate boxers who are in over their head and resort to sparring niceties as a form of getting him to slow down on a beating.
Why in some minds did Mayweather have to stand their continuing to make out with Ortiz in the middle of a championship boxing match?
Next, Ortiz would have started asking for advice on how to do better during the fight, and Mayweather naysayers would have complained that Floyd should have at least offered some advice to the young lion.
No, its PROTECT YOURSELF AT ALL TIMES for a reason. A boxing match is not the place for apologies or ceremonial gestures. Ortiz could have done all that after the fight. Ortiz should have not apologized for doing what he had to do to win. People get headbutted all the time. People get low blowed all the time. You don't see the offender running over to kowtow to the offended DURING the match. Maybe a glove touch at best but this new fad of touching gloves like a match where the goal is to hurt the other man is ridiculous. It totally takes the steam out of any match because you can't believe that the fighters have bad intentions if they are busy playing patty cake and hugging each other.
Its a sign of desperation, and once fighters begin that sparring **** in matches where the fans paid for tickets and PPV's to see two men leave it all in the ring the fans have a strong case for feeling cheated.
Sportsmanship does not mean that boxers are supposed to "hug it out" in the 4th round of a fight where both men claimed that they were going to beat each other unconscious. Sportsmanship in boxing has to do with not headbutting or throwing low blows INTENTIONALLY. Sportsmanship in boxing has to do with not loading your gloves or taking illegal PEDs.
In fact, it should become a new rule that boxers who attempt to continuously touch gloves can have a point deducted .. simply because they are putting themselves in a vulnerable position and then later complaining when their opponent doesn't see continuous glove touching or hugging as necessary.
How many times did Gatti try complaining to the ref during Gatti/Ward I?
How many times did Mosley try to touch 'em up with Margarito?
How many times did Ortiz try to "hug it out" with Berto?
Its when boxers realize that they are out of their league that the DEMOTE THEMSELVES to sparring partners against Floyd. They know that they are having trouble executing their gameplan, and when that happens 1 of 3 things happen:
1 - they complain to the ref as if a time out has been called
2 - they try to touch gloves every time an exchange happens
3 - they foul to stall for time to figure things out or turn the tide
Last night, Ortiz pulled a #3 and then wouldn't let it go even after Floyd touched gloves with him. Ortiz had to clearly see that after he hugged & kissed Floyd that Floyd nodded, put his gloves up, flinched as if he thought Ortiz was going to throw something and then let his own hands go.
There is no fault there in terms of rules or sportsmanship. All the so-called controversy is coming from unhappy fans of other fighters who wanted to see more from Ortiz.
Floyd handled Ortiz amazingly and he handled Merchant beautifully.
Great night of fights.
The question everybody is left thinking is "Who is next for Floyd?"
People are already asking that. They want to know what's next for boxing's MVP.
Hate it or love it ... that's exactly what Mayweather is.Comment

The thing about haterz is, they gonna hate. No matter who Mayweather beats haterz will never be satisfied. People like you pop a lot of **** online but you back a fighter that would rather make BS excuses than take a test and fight. It really says a lot about Manny fans. By the way, I'd like a signed contract not a BS video. Im hoping Floyd fights Martinez because Manny never will. Manny wont even fight Ortiz or Berto even after they loss, LMAO!!!Comment
