Ortiz knew he had ****ed up. That's why he tried to kiss Floyd and give him a hug. Ortiz got what he had coming to him. What if he had opened a huge cut on Floyd with that headbutt bull****?? I really don't know what all the fuss is about....Floyd was going to knock his a** out in seven or eight anyway. He was walking Ortiz down and clipping him with lead right hands. Ortiz tried to headbutt Floyd because Floyd was taking it to him and he panicked. We already know from the Maidana fight that Ortiz is immature. Beating Berto didn't change that and his attempted headbutt proves it.

Merchant has been dogging Floyd, Bernard, Roy, Tyson, etc. for a very long time. Nobody wants a the BS after a brilliant performance. People said he was getting old, a runner, didnt throw combos anymore, gonna have a tough time with Ortiz, etc. but Floyd silenced all that BS lastnite. Merchant would've gave Manny head for at least 5 minutes then cordially asked him about a PBF fight in the most polite way imaginable while blaming the lack of on Floyd. **** that BS, enough is eough!!!!

He dogged out guys that carry themselves a certain way, and good for him. Why should guys like that get to act like the POS we all know they are, though Merchant always respected Tyson, as he's said as much in the past. My opinion is that this is not a way to win a fight. This is not a wordy win for a champion. The rest are details. Floyd said this fight adds to his legacy. That is really funny too.

Thanks for your opinion but no thanks!!! Im cool with most of the boxing press getting this one right. Most say it was highly warranted and I agree. Biased opinions dont matter. This is boxing not kickball. Go hard or go home!!!!!!

I honestly think victor ortiz layed the blueprint on how to defeat mayweather.yes it was only 4 rounds,but enough in a small span to say there's a way to get inside that defense.And I also think mayweather has lost a step.Ortiz had him fustrated and in a rare moment floyd was chasing ortiz.maybe it could be the inactivity,but reagardless floyd was getting tagged more then often.
