Pacquiao should learn from this for if a Mayweather fight ever happens. Don't play hug smile N kiss with Floyd like he did with Clottey[build up to the fight], Mosley[going along with all the glove tapping], and like he's doing with Marquez for the build up[playful interviews, singing together]. Pacquiao needs to come in with his game face, no playing around, no glove tapping, no smiling, no kissing, no hugging, no love songs.

If May-Pac happens, and Pacquiao starts putting his glove up for Floyd to tap, I would love for Mr Nice Guy to just get decked by a right hand. This is not Barney & Friends, this is Boxing, a sport where you fight. You tap gloves at the beginning of the fight, and hug at the end. Not, trying to have *** during the fight.

Let me ask you this, Larry Merchant didn't even ask him a question, before he goes into a tirade. He knew what he did was show poor sportsman ship. Did Holyfield go that route after Tyson "took it to the streets", no he showed some class. Mayweather is a ****** piece of ****.

Let me ask you this, if it were Manny would Merchant have handled it that way? You know the answer is HELL NO!!!!! Merchant didnt even congradulate Floyd he just went into the BS as if Floyd suppose to bend to Manny's every request and have none of his own but he's the far bigger draw. GTFOHWTBS!!!

Merchant congratulated Floyd and afterwards asked him about the cheap shots.

This is boxing, you protect yourself at all times.
Not to mention, Ortiz was way in over his head.
Was getting pummeled, and would have eventually gotten stopped.
Lost in all of this was that Mayweather was fighting an exciting fight.
He was standing in front of Ortiz, blocking, countering and putting on a show.
Your obviously not that intelligent maynever was a 6-1 favorite for a reason explanation: Ortiz had no chance in hell of winning but these are the type of guys and fighters that Maynever likes to fight guys that he could hand pick that have major disadvantages over and make him look good. But what is funny is that wasn't Maynever suppose to be winning the fight wasn't he the one that was a 6-1 betting favorite so what are you really saying. It would have been nice if Maynever would have not resorted to cheap shot at the end to beat a 6-1 underdog. Let's see if Maynever has and balls and hand picks Sergio Martinez next but I doubt it he's a coward. Amir khan next September for Maynever the cherry picker. Also victor Ortiz was not getting pummeled and there was no telling what the final outcome would have been if the fight would have gone on.

No I don't...you know why? Pac would never do what May did, that's the difference. Mayweather is a classless ****** POS.

First off why did Ortiz Headbutt jr again????? this was not a blow out in any means and to me Ortiz was the aggressor that round and was in a good competitive fight but why the hell did he headbutt jr it makes no sense??? i dont think he was frustrated cuz he was catching jr with some hard shots as well but i mean what the hell is wrong with Ortiz?? he said jr pushed a couple of times and thats why he retaliated but com on.......a HEADBUTT is the way to go???? u cant b serious right... Ortiz should no learn how to keep hes cool cuz if he dont is gona let hes emotions get in the way of the fight again and again..and one last thing why didnt ortiz put hes hands up immedietly after Jr hooked him???? the guy is still looking at the ref i mean didnt u feel that shot at all cuz the guy aint paying attention at all.....and mayweather what a prick he is but yes that **** was legal but he aint a sportsman and so is Ortiz..

Merchant has been dogging Floyd, Bernard, Roy, Tyson, etc. for a very long time. Nobody wants a the BS after a brilliant performance. People said he was getting old, a runner, didnt throw combos anymore, gonna have a tough time with Ortiz, etc. but Floyd silenced all that BS lastnite. Merchant would've gave Manny head for at least 5 minutes then cordially asked him about a PBF fight in the most polite way imaginable while blaming the lack of on Floyd. **** that BS, enough is eough!!!!

I honestly think victor ortiz layed the blueprint on how to defeat mayweather.yes it was only 4 rounds, but enough in a small span to say there's a way to get inside that defense. And I also think mayweather has lost a step.Ortiz had him fustrated and in a rare moment floyd was chasing ortiz.maybe it could be the inactivity, but reagardless floyd was getting tagged more then often.
