Time was called in. Ortiz had hugged and apologized twice. The second time, Mayweather touched gloves. Cortez called time in and then approached him and he tried doing it again when Mayweather was clearly ready to fight and retaliate.

Ortiz wanted a way out and I have NEVER seen a fighter throw such a blatant headbutt where he actually jumps forward like that.

What a dirty trash bag and I have lost a ton of respect for Ortiz. If you guys want to blame anybody, blame Ortiz. He got what he deserved. Like Floyd wants to make out with some punk who was trying to headbutt.

Ortiz was looking for a clear advantage like a cut eye because he was losing every round and could not land clear shots, and Floyd was landing the right hand at will.

Ortiz already paid for that headbutt by getting deducted. Floyd pretended to hug then he hits him while Ortiz was just about to step back while Cortez wasn't even motioning of continuing the fight.

What Ortiz did was dirty but what Floyd did was Monumental Dirtiness.

If the clock was really timed in. How come Joe Cortez was looking outside the ring to check it?

Sends Floyd to neutral corner to chill
Takes off 1 point from ortiz and sends him to opposite corner
motions for time keeper for time-in
then says Fight in the center of the ring and proceeds to watch the fight.

What Cortez did:

Stops the fight and starts berating Ortiz on how bad he is with his head and takes away 1 point, MUTTERS "fight on" which fighters cant hear, Cortez is miced up so we can hear at home, but fighters cant hear him mumbling as the crowd is yelling,

Mayweather and Ortiz hug it out while Cortez has his back turned to them talking with the time keeper, he should have never allowed this

Yes, please rewatch the fight. And when you do, you will see Floyd staying in the neutral corner after he was headbutted for the 7th time, and you will see Ortiz pull a *** move and go kiss Floyd, then you will see Ortiz go to make amends again. Now they are back in the middle of the ring and Cortez said fight, but yet Ortiz wanted to touch gloves again, and then try to hug it out. Floyd had his gaurd up, ready to fight. So it's fight time. Ortiz was looking directly at Floyd, So how can this be a sucka punch when you're in a boxing ring looking directly at your opponent? Then after he gets hit with a left hook, he looks at the ref? Who does that? How can it be a cheap shot when it was completely legal? If the boy didn't want to fight he shouldn't have got in the ring.

Cortez then stated, "let's go" and signaled the fight to resume. Ortiz tried to say sorry, again, for what? They had already touched up. That's Ortiz own fault. Watch closely, Ortiz goes to hug Floyd AGAIN, Cortez points to the timekeeper and says "time in", immediately after, Floyd threw the left-right. Again, they had already touched up, time was in, and Ortiz should've protected himself. Legal, plain and simple.

WE CAN BARELY HEAR IT!! and dont forget that we can barely hear it with him being MIC'ed UP FOR THE TV.

Ortiz doesnt have luxury of hearing Cortez'es microphone, only the fans do at home, and WE BARELY heard it. Now imagine yourself in the ring with people yelling all over the place, how you gonna hear it if we barely heard it and Cortez had a MIC hooked up to him?

There is no way Ortiz heard it, we can only hear it because Cortez is miced up and his mic filters all the sound, even then its barely heard.
