Was it legal? yeah, I guess. But if Floyd want's to be known as the best ever, why hug, then take the killshot and give people anything to question, he's done it in his previous 41 fights so it should have been easy.

Floyd impressed me last night. He was so focused in there and giving a methodical beating. It is amazing how he can fight in any direction he wants too and it just baffles his opponent anyway.

Actually it may have been hard for Larry, but he was actually giving Floyd his props during the fight. It is a shame Floyd lit up on him as they could have reached common ground, but Larry had to discuss the "controversial" ending. Floyd was being way over sensitive there.

Why wasnt Floyd in the neutral corner?
Why wasnt the official clock rolling during the punches? Because the time wasnt IN. If you look and see the official time clock its not rolling, infact Cortez had his back to them talking to the commision about the clock just as Floyd punched him.

again, why wasnt he in the neutral corner until time-in was called? Then if Ortiz wanted to hug thats his problem.

It was an illegal punch since time wasnt running, its like punching someone during a time-out, Cortez only told time-in to the commision as Ortiz was being punched in the face, dont the rules state that the fighter must be in neutral corner until Ref says time-in?

The only downside of the fight was it was only 4 rounds. It was a great fight and a great performance by Floyd. It was to the point where the Ortiz fans in the house turned to Floyd fans in a few seconds.

that's what's killing boxing. allowing refs and judges do whatever they want and score however they want and get away with it.
Ortiz is a dumbass, acting gay ,hugging ,kissing in the ring, touching gloves ,against a guy who openly despises this practice (floyd smashed mosley in the face when he tried the same).
Floyd is a one badass mofo in the ring, i dont expect great sportmanship in the ring, and he never delivers it. But then again people paid to see the action, not some gay sportsmanship.
Not a class act by him punching a guy who's been distracted , but it's legit.... i feel sorry for people who paid a grand buck to see this.
2011 will not be remembered as a great year for boxing. crap fights, ****ty decisions, blind demented refs...
