It's hard to see a way in which Wladimir beats Lennox, but I've seen Vitali maul his ass with my own two eyes already. I understand Vitali had cuts caused by Lennox's punches, and I agree that Lewis deserved the TKO win, but Vitali clearly was superior while the actual fight lasted. I don't buy into Lennox being washed up at that time either. It was disgraceful the way he retired without giving the world that rematch, and because of that, I have a hard time looking back favorably on him (despite his wonderful career). But yeah, Floyd's partially right.

I remember the fight a bit differently. Vitali was up on points but I remember a much closer fight with Lewis taking control and looking awfully winded at the same time. Lewis was stepping on the gas with much success but he didnt seem to have much gas left. What I took away from the fight was that Lewis was a better fighter, he just wasnt in 2nd Rahman shape. The Lewis that fought Rahman wins going away. However Vitali has improved since then so if they met in their prime It would be a pick me fight.
