You would think from most Klit fans that.. Vitali dominated the fight and absolutely schooled Lewis over the 6 rounds and that Lewis landed a lucky punch which opened him up.

Yet the scorecards were 4-2 too Vitali.. Didn't Vitali win the first 4 rounds aswell? so Lewis was clearly coming back into it landed a monster uppercut.. Both looked exhausted and ready to go tbh

FACT is that Lewis won under boxing rules..

So what Vitali was 4-2 up after 6 rounds.. Championship Boxing goes for 12.. Hell Zab Judah was probably Slightly ahead of Mayweather at 6 rounds.. But got a sheer beating for the following 6 rounds and had to cheat to be saved from being Koed

I just can't understand HOW Vitali dominated that fight if the cards were 4-2.. you do realize thats a 1 round ****in swing..

Yes, Lewis' win over Vitali was legitimate, but it wasn't convincing. I would have loved to have seen a rematch.

As far as Wladimir is concerned. There's no way he'd be able to withstand Lewis' bombs the way his big brother did.

As much as I like Mayweathers boxing talents his opinions are far wide of the mark.

Vitali lost to Lewis because of a cut.
Vitali was WINNING on all score cards at the time of the stoppage.
Vitali requested a rematch and LEWIS declined.

I like Lennox Lewis, in my opinion he's one of the best heavyweight boxers of all time, he avenged his losses but Lewis should have rematch Lewis to put the doubts to rest, but seriously 50 years down the line from now people will see his record and go damn he beat the Great Vitali Klitschko most people wouldn't have seen the fight and justice was never served which is/was and forever will be a shame, but Vitali became a much better fighter because of the loss.

TKO stoppage due to cuts is a legit win.

He was winning 4-2, not exactly a landslide and as the fight was progressing, Lewis was faring far better than the first two rounds.

Yea, he probably should have re-matched, however, he already was ready for retirement, don't blame him, winning a rematch would have gained him nothing, except shut up some Klit fans.

                THE TRUTH

Vitali took the fight on just 10 days notice.

Vitali was clearly winning the fight 4-2 on all 3 scorecards at the time of the controversial doctor stoppage. Lewis barely survived the 2nd round, he was badly hurt, holding on for dear life, wobbling everywhere and staggering around the ring like a drunk. Lewis was badly hurt several times in the fight and was getting outboxed, outworked, outmuscled and outlanded by Vitali.

                punches landed

                Vitali 156

                Lewis 102

Lewis was exhausted, worn down and hurt from the accumulation of punches and was ready to get KTFO again, he collapsed onto his stool at the end of the 6th round, Vitali was clearly the fresher of the two, he was a man on a mission and would've KO'd Lewis for sure if the fight had continued.

After the fight, Vitali intimidated the shit out of Lewis and made him look like a bitch.

All the fans at Staples Center cheered for Vitali and booed Lewis after the fight.

                Lewis promised Vitali a rematch.

Vitali destroyed Kirk Johnson in 2 rounds and called out Lewis again in the post fight interview. The scared Lewis retired shortly after that fight.

Lewis turned down 30 million dollars for a rematch and retired like a coward because he knew he would get destroyed by Vitali.

Vitali dominated Lewis and scared his bitch ass into retirement.

George Foreman: "Vitali was winning the fight. Lewis got lucky. There has to be a rematch!"

Jim Lampley: "A lucky escape for Lewis who was clearly losing the fight"

Even Emanuel Steward was upset and pissed off at Lewis for blatantly ducking a Vitali rematch.

Lewis is scared to death of Vitali.

That's 2/3 of the fight sweety & he landed 60% of the punches that connected in the fight.. had him all but ready to go in the second rd... Funny how you mention the GREAT undefeated FLoyd Mayweather potentially being behind in a fight when it's never happened IN ANY of the fights Vitali has fought... Perhaps Lil' Floyd is peeved that Vitali is ten times more dominant than him with 2 defeats.. has an EVEN better offense/defense ratio than him throughout his career (punches landed vs opponent as opposed to punches landed on him)... tell Lil Floyd to bring pAQUAIO with him UNTESTED (LIKE VITALI REALLY CARES) & he'll school both of those boxing legends at the same time & after he knocks both out.. he'll go to Lennox' mama's crib & fish him out too & they'll finally continue to rd 7 & you'll all see what would've happened if doctors hadn't stepped in when both fighters were going to war.

The amount of excuses made for Vitali in the Lewis fight is shocking. Ive heard the following...

-The cut was caused by a backhand
-The cut was caused by a headbutt
-The cut was caused by Lewis' hair(guess his hair has razorblades)
-The cut was caused by the inside of Lewis' glove
Maybe Lewis' head is located on the back of his fist, and his headbutt razorblade hair sliced open Vitali's face? I dont know.

oh and I state this all the ****ing time but Vitali was in training to fight Cedric Boswell on the undercard of Lewis-Kirk Johnson. If he took the fight on 'short notice', so did Lewis.

oh but Mayweather is an idiot.

Its real simple. Vitali was winning then he lost. Lennox was losing then he won.
