It is abnormal, but causes of high blood sugar can be from many different factors, such as undue stress, illness, nutirtion (excess carbs)...
It's far from a smoking gun.

I think it was more of him running out of gas.
I do think Brewster will find the canvas in the rematch though.

ill post this again since nobody will go back a page to read it.
wlad has thrown more punches than that and been fine. that is a fact. want me to prove it??? no problem. here is a compubox article for you from klitschko mercer..................
"Klitschko outlanded Mercer 193-54 in the total punch department. He fought at a furious pace, averaging 78 punches per round, 29 more than the heavyweight average. Mercer threw just 124 punches over 5 rounds (23 per round). Klitschko never let Mercer into the fight. He threw 88 punches in round 1, landing 41 (47%), dropping Mercer with a double left hook. Wlady kept the heat on in round 2 as well, landing 40 of the 82 punches he threw. His 48 jabs (he landed 18) in the second frame set up 22 of 34 (65%) power shots- the fight was all but over. Mercer did not attempt a single power shot in round 2.
It was pretty much target practice the rest of the way for Klitschko, who finished the night landing 62% of his power shots (104 of 167). "
104 of 193 punches were power shots and yet he didnt tire.. strange isnt it???

Wlad wasn't drugged, Wlad was just being his unpredictable self. Brewster just had the tools to exploit Wlad's innate weaknesses (i like Wlad, he is an exciting fighter, but he doesn't like being hit by people with the power of Lamon Brewster).

That was before he was brutally stopped by Corrie Sanders, and 104 power shots in 6 rounds is still less than 113 power shots he threw in the 5 rounds.
Anchient Mercer also offered little to no resistance.
Again, use common sense.
WATCH the Wlad Brewester fight and tell me that he didn't fight like a spaz in the first 4 rounds.
When there's a very likely conclusion right in front of your eyes, fishing for excuses about mystery poision or vasiline is just that, excuses.

Brewster has a big heart, and was responding after Wlad tired.
And I wont say Brewster's chin is better than Mercer's....because that would be wrong. But I will say it can sustain quite a heavy beating.

well anyhow i dont really care to argue, im not big on the poisoned theory, but something was strange. im confident wlad will win the next go round and really that is good enough for me.
i was just presenting some facts. i know mercer and brewster werent the same fight. the numbers are almost identical from the first two rounds in both fights. and as i said before, brewtser said himself that he could hear wlad breathing unusally hard as early as late in the 2nd round..... wlad kept going as long as he could cause he knew there was no turning back when he started tiring, he wasnt punching himself out so much as he was trying to save himself the only way he could.

was he drugged? i doubt it, but i wouldnt be suprised if he was.
IMO, he just punched himself out, brewster got damn lucky in that fight. the new wlad wouldve won that fight.
