Mayweather retired. Punked out of fighting the best welterweights when it was the hottest division in boxing. Pacquiao became the consensus p4p#1, went on to accomplish what no-one gave him a chance of doing back then, going up from super feather to do what Floyd wouldn't do, fighting all the best welters and destroying them and Hatton at 140. He's earned his p4p best status, and Fighter of the Decade honors. Only blind Floyd nuthuggers will tell you different. Only when it was safe Floyd decided to come back to be a part-time fighter, fighting once a year with meaningless fights like Marquez and Ortiz, refuses to fight Pacquiao, and you still see him as the #1? You have some serious objectivity issues.

The "best welterweights"? I guess you only look at WHO Pac fought and totally disregard of WHEN Pac fought them.

Come one son, even Calzaghe beat Jones coming off some wins did he not? However Calzghe didn't beat the #1 P4P and fighter of the decade Roy Jones from the early to late 90's now did he? Calzaghe got a victory but it wasn't vs the undefeated fighter of the decade and p4p #1 Roy Jones. It was the guy who was a walking concussion.

Pac hasn't fought the best of ANYTHING in years. He has faced in-house top rank recycled "former champions" coming off the worst performances of their career. You can't even deny that without being a liar. Pac fighting the best WW's is a pure lie. When Pac "selected" to fight them, they where all coming off the worst performances of their career. Half of them had already been beaten by Floyd, one was a cheater and banned, the other STILL hasn't won a fight since 2008. The best? wtf are YOU talking about?

When's the last time Pac fought a champion or even a fighter coming off a solid win?

Highly doubtful. He will pot shot and counter punch his way to a UD. People will be left feeling cheated and pissed off. Not questioning WHY Pac didn't win but why Floyd cherry picked the little guy and why Floyd is ducking (insert name).

The fight will be just as boring if not WORSE than Pac attempting to fight old man Mosley. Like I said years ago, Floyd would play a brilliant (boring) game of chess while Pac would attempt to play checkers. Two great games, just on completely different levels.
