this about sums it up... that Floyd.

but the guy will box circles around Ortiz and land whatever the hell he wants... accumulation of punches can do damage.

Everything he had? I guess we saw a different fight. I saw him tired of touching gloves and touching up Shanes face to get him to stop. But in no means all he had

Sounds like Floyd wants to make a statement. Hopefully.

Haha. I disagree though! My belief is that if Shane stood in front of Pac like he did against Floyd -- he would instead be sleeping on the canvas. His face wouldn't have been worse than Margarito. But only because Shane would have been on the ground sleeping better than an infant. It would have been Hatton 2. Shane said he didn't even know what rounds he was in after the knockdown.

And then you know why his face wouldn't had been worse than Margarito? Cause everytime Shane and Pac touched gloves, that was Shane indirectly asking Pac to please, please spare his life. And Pac, being the religious guy he is, kept granting Shane his wish.

Mayweather never relinquished that #1 spot.

Especially not to a guy who is feeding on old men, faded champions, and bums, and will not fight anyone dangerous without a catch-weight.

Many of us thought the same of Mosley, that he wouldn't get knocked down. When was the last time we saw Mosley on the canvas? Mosley said afterwards that he has never been hit that hard in his life. In recent years, Pac's KD's haven't come from accumulation either. Hatton went down fast and was out cold. Mosley, out of all people, went down fast too and was noticeably seeing stars on the ground before getting up finally. And Shane is well-known for his granite chin. Cotto went down fairly easily too, and because he tried to continue his face ended up as a bloody massacre. Margarito didn't go down, but suffered a broken orbital (how many times does that happen?). Face was butchered up.

I think the only victimless opponent was Clottey. Who covered up all day long and didn't want to pull that trigger that often. A well covered punching bag.

Marquez will get KO'd quite fast. And if not, his face will end up seriously battered. There is a very good reason why Coach Roach, Ariza, and company say with extreme confidence that in these fights that Pac will not just win, but STOP their opponents. Hall of Fame guys who are not known at all for ever getting stopped.
Well, I see that you don't have much points so feel like betting them? Bet all your points with me that JMM doesn't get KO'd like you believe he will. Your comparing all of the guys Pac fought to Marquez? Why should I believe Pac will KO Marquez when he couldn't even do that in 2 fights 4 years apart and 4 KD's in 24 rounds combined? I think Pac dominating all of them slow defensiveless fighters have got you thinking Pac is going to dominate JMM. Like I said, while Pac can and will probably win because of the fact that Pac is comfortable at the weight but if JMM fights smart, boxes and uses patience . It will not be an easy fight for Manny. Honestly dude, Mosley didn't fight and Cotto has always been open for the big shot and has been wobbled by many fighters in his career.

Hatton got KO'd by Mayweather who according to most people say that Floyd doesn't have any KO power so how can that make Manny look any greater knocking out Hatton? Clottey was covering up but everytime he let his hands go Pac got busted up. did you see his face after the fight? Clottey didn't come to fight AT ALL. Pac beat up on Margarito for 12rds and didn't put him down once. Granted he did break his orbital bone but since Hatton. Who has Pac KO'd quickly? Again, if you feel confident that JMM will get KO'd by Pac. then bet them. Talk is cheap.

If you honestly think JMM will be able to last the entire fight against a 144lb Pac then you don't know boxing. Also you need to brush your teeth cause your breaths smells.
I honestly think that Pac will not KO JMM and if you think I don't know anything about boxing then bet the lil bit of points you have with me that Pac will. Pac will have to take some to get some with JMM. No matter how big Pac is. Juan Manuel Marquez style is a nightmare for Pac. It's all about styles but some of you come on here and act like just because Pac beat up ready made fighters that he destroys everybody. Pac may KD JMM but I don't believe he will knock him out. JMM is the kind of fighter that if he hasn't been KO'd by now then he ain't going to be BUT I could be wrong and that's why I'm suggesting you put your points up.

Mayweather retired. Punked out of fighting the best welterweights when it was the hottest division in boxing. Pacquiao became the consensus p4p#1, went on to accomplish what no-one gave him a chance of doing back then, going up from super feather to do what Floyd wouldn't do, fighting all the best welters and destroying them and Hatton at 140. He's earned his p4p best status, and Fighter of the Decade honors. Only blind Floyd nuthuggers will tell you different. Only when it was safe Floyd decided to come back to be a part-time fighter, fighting once a year with meaningless fights like Marquez and Ortiz, refuses to fight Pacquiao, and you still see him as the #1? You have some serious objectivity issues.
