We are talking about Antonio Tarver, yeh?
You said he was going to fight Tarver if Antonio hadn't lost to Hopkins. Is that opinion or fact?

Joe Calzaghe would have beat Tarver.

Pretty much the story of his career.

I said Calzaghe wanted Tarver for his first fight at LHW but he lost to Hopkins. Its what he said. The fact that he fought Hopkins, the man who completely outclassed Tarver, suggests that its true. About the 10th time Ive stated my reasoning.

What is your basis for saying he would never fight Tarver? 2nd time Ive asked.

Oh wait....you dont answer questions. You just ask more. And more. And more. And drag out these lame arguments until people lose the will to live. And then you post some "holier than thou" response which is akin to say "he he I got the last word".

Zzzz enjoy man. Im done here.

You've been done, man! Coming on here and passing off what Cazaghe probably said after the fact like it's truth. My basis for saying he would've never faced Tarver? It's my opinion. Kinda like the idea that he would've faced him. Only to you Joe saying it makes it gospel truth, huh?

He would've beat Wladimir Klitschko too. He was going to fight him but his retirement came first so that sorta screwed it up, you know?

Well we all know how much Calzaghe means to you. You didn't even attribute a quote to him, or preface it with a "Calzaghe said." Just wrote, "He would've fought him if he hadn't lost" like that **** was pure fact!

No but really, I think Calzaghe would have beaten Tarver, IMO.

IMO, he would have cleaned out the 168 Division of all contenders.

And after that he would have beaten Pavlik, Dawson, Froch, Tarver, etc etc.

                    He just didn't..

Calzaghe is a bum. Yes he was undefeated, but who did he ever beat? To me his most impressive wins are over unbeaten Mikkel Kessler and Jeff Lacy. He totally avoided Tarver because a shell of Roy Jones, and an old Hopkins,(in my oppinion who beat Calzaghe) were bigger money fights. Tarver would have beaten him at 40, 35, or whenever. Calzaghe is one of the most overrated dudes there is in recent memory. He ducked Glen Johnson multiple times, and wanted no part of Tarver or Chad Dawson. **** Calzaghe.
