Why wouldn't he be #1? Who else is beating WW Champion's right now? If Mayweather beats Ortiz that's two back to back WW Champions.

Who else has done more? I can't think of one person?

The REAL question should be; if Ortiz wins does he get put in the #1 spot because if Floyd wins that's where he should be IMO.

I mean if we're going by ring rankings and what the ring should do/will do. One has to take into account that Pac last 3 opponents at WW have been ranked in the top 5. One of them was a top 3. According to the ring rankings. No matter what we think of Pac opponents. You gotta take that into account since you're talking about what the ring will/should do.

So going by the ring, it's arguable.

Now if you're talking about a personal list, then yes no doubt. IMO Pac hasn't fought a ranked WW since Clottey. But, if you going by the ring...Then that's another question.

Surely he can only claim no1 by beating no1?
