Gamboa should move up to 130lbs or even 135lbs and fight the Champions in those division.

What is about Donaire that we should understand?

Why would he be scared of Gamboa for?

I wasn't around that time, no where near, but I can still respect them seeing how boxing is now and how it was then. Don't care if the fighters from now are better and more well-nutritioned, the golden age boxers are much much tougher in every way. 15 rounds, 8 weight classes, 1 belt. Just crazy.

Now, 8lbs=OMFG he can't do it, he'll die!
but then if he moves 2 weights up and beat gamboa, idiots like you will say he's on peds. that no way in hell he can do that without the help of peds

did gamboa fight a fighter with the caliber of nonito's boxing skills and speed? as of now, 126 is very ideal weight for nonito, no need to dehydrate that much and he will gain more power. it will be a good fight but imo, nonito will prevail if the fight happens. 8 lbs is not really that much additional weight for a 5'-7" height. nonito's body frame is perfect for 130-140 weight divisions.

Nonito does walk around at 135-140ish doesn't he? Perhaps it can be made in a year or two, if both guys are still around ( and around each other in weight)

The only question is what round will Gamboa finish Donaire off. Donaire, the bum and undersized fighters' beater.

Donaire walks around at 140 plus pounds. He has obviously grown and is 28 years old. He is literally killing himself getting down to 118

if i were him, fight one fight at 122 early next year, a tune up fight at 126 in the summer, and move to 126 by the end of the year. If Gamboa is still there, the fight can be made.

i think Gamboa will stick around, 130 is a WEAK division lead by Adrian Broner and theres no money in that fight.
