Will Mayweather/Ortiz end in a decision or stoppage? Official Poll!

Ortiz will be able to hit Mayweather clean sooner or later, I don't see a KD on Mayweather beyond the realm of possibity, I think Mayweather can recover though, and wont be KO'd.

If Mayweather is able to get to Ortiz as cleanly and easily as he was getting at Mosley then i see a stoppage being possible for May. Ortiz by no means has as good a chin as Mosley does, even at this stage of his career, and Mosley was taking clean, hard right hands to the chin all night long.

I think Ortiz is tough enough to go the distance. Even if he's hurting and bloodied by the end.

I just cant see Ortiz getting to Floyd enough to hurt him or stop him. Ortiz gets caught way too easily coming forward and Floyd is a master of exploiting that.

I really hope floyd is aggressive and trades. But he will still only throw single punch counters up close if anything.

Also a great possibility. With that said, and my above post.. I still think there is an excellent chance of Mayweather going into cruise control for 10-12, which would kill my bet.

I dont think so if you remember he landed a high volume and threw alot of punches against marquez in the 10-12 rounds and against mosley he kept holding may was going for the knockout so i dont see a cruise control because if he dont knock him out may will get crucified

Im actually quite surprised at the poll.

Floyd hasnt stopped anyone for some time and Ortiz has never been stopped. On one hand people say he is bigger, younger etc, and it will be a good challenge for Floyd, but on the other people expect floyd to stop him.

I hope people arent voting for Ortiz to win by stoppage.

If goes the distance Floyd. If it's a KO Ortiz. Why?
I don't see Floyd taking any chances & trying to go for the KO. I see him playing it safe as usual & putting on a boring fight just boxing enough to win on points with out taking any chances.
Ortiz if he's as aggressive as he was with Berto I think he might feel like he had Floyd hurt & try to end him, but still a dangerous move IMO. The only way I see Ortiz winning by D is if he scores multiple knockdowns. Witch won't be easy with some one that has great defensive skills like Floyd, but still possible.
OUTCOME IMO… Victor Ortiz late stopage over Floyd.
