That's the long answer.

The short answer is, with either of them winning, the belt stays in Mexico. WBC=Mexican belt. The WBC's agenda of keeping all WBC belts in Mexico keeps growing.

Morales was sceduled to fight Matthysee and wanted Maidanna as the replacement even though he most likely would have lost both fights so atleast it's not like a complete b*tch move.
