Kellerman suggested in a year Mikey could be ready but not now. I agree with you EArner, Mikey should wait a while.

I think Bob ****ed Gamboa anyway. Gamboa should've knocked Juanma out instead of Salido but Bob was being a greedy b!tch. Serves him well.
They didn't want him fighting Gamboa last year, but this year after JuanMa got KO'ed, it opened the door for him.

Do I believe Mikey can beat Gamboa, he'll yeah, Do I believe Gamboa can beat Mikey of course, but it doesn't matter what you, me or the experts say, nothing matters unless they get in the ring.
I'm beginning to think you're either confusing my posts for someone else's, or you simply don't comprehend what I'm posting.

I don't think Gamboa is "light years" ahead of Garcia. Yuri is, as you've acknowledged, the top guy at 126. That's enough. (I can, and have, said more, but this is plenty.) Mikey is the guy that needs to prove himself, not Yuri (at least not nearly so much).

As you say, there's a chance both these guys can beat each other. That's usually the case with talented fighters. The real question is who has the best chance of beating the other. Right now, as of this second, the chances are clearly in favor of Gamboa. It can be demonstrated. Garcia's chances cannot.

It's doesn't matter who he fights at 126, you guys are **** on his wins. Look at you guys ****ting on Remillard, if he beats anybody named Solis, Salidos, JuanMa, de Leon, everyone is gonna say he beat someone elses leftover.

You probably haven't noticed that Gamboa is just a pawn just like Mikey, yet you act like he has power like PAC or Floyd do talking about he has earn a shot.

Earn a shot? for what, neither guy is doing anything at the beginnig of the year. The only thing between them is air and opportunity, ohh and people like you making excuses on why making shouldn't get a fight with Gamboa.

"Look at you guys"? "People like you"? Are you talking to me? Or are you blindly lumping me in with everyone else? I never put down Mikey's wins, so you have me mistaken with some whole other body. And I never "made excuses" for Garcia not getting a shot with Yuri. In fact, I'm not sure many people (if anyone) have done so.

Here is a fact: Robert Garcia, Mikey's brother and trainer, has gone on record as saying that Mikey's not ready for Gamboa. How was Yuri denying him a shot, when Mikey's own brother made this statement? Many of Gamboa's fans know this, so they wouldn't be talking mess about Garcia "earning a shot". Mikey might be ready now, but Gamboa's moving up.

Whatever the case may be, I would love to see Yuri fight Garcia. I think it would be a good fight for both men. I also think Gamboa would win. And it can't happen fast enough, because I'm quickly growing tired of hearing how Mikey Garcia is better than Yuriorkis Gamboa. I'd like to put it to rest...win, lose or draw.

Gamboa wouldn't fight at 122. He's having trouble making 126. Yuri is tops at 126 and will be the man at 130, also. 135 is going to be tough. It'll be very interesting to see if Gamboa can climb that ladder.

First let me start by saying I like both fighters...... BuUuUt I cant believe this is a ****!ng thread. Mikey I'm not ready for Gamboa 2x Garcia??? Then they could have made a fight for the IBF strap but the Garcia team didn't become interested until it was stripped from Gamboa. The Robert Garcia Reality Show: Episode 4 'Gamboa Stripped of IBF Title on YouTube about the 3:50 mark if your interested (cant post link because I'm under the 15 post mark). If he wasn't ready then Rafael Guzman sure as he!! didn't get him any more prepared then he already is. The only people who think he beats Gamboa is his fans and THAT'S IT because HIM and HIS TEAM surely don't. If you think otherwise you're a tool.

I think Garcia is too polished/well rounded for Gamboa. He's a sharp puncher who already has the kind of discipline Gamboa could only dream about. Gamboa can take advantage of guys who are overly aggressive but I actually think Garcia can outbox Gamboa and catch him with something big while Gamboa has his hands down.

Garcia will be P4P in two years....he's ready to be moved along right now.
