People stop comparing this ****. seriously, are some of you straight up dumb asses?
major event tickets in Vegas are run by brokers and the casinos. you cant fairly judge which fight sells out faster. Casinos comp tickets to high rollers, and it vary's on how many tickets the casinos are allowed for certain events.

If brokers bought more tickets of Pacquaio/marquez then they did for floyd/Ortiz BUT the brokers still have tickets does that mean they sold out faster?
      NO.

and do any of you know how many tickets the brokers have bought for each fight and how much they have left?
      NO.
Do any of you know how many tickets the casinos grabbed up?
      NO.
      come on people!!!

See the problem with your post is that it makes too much sense. Therefore both Pac and Floyd stans won't understand it.

Floyd is #1 and Manny is #1b when it comes to Box Office and PPV sales in Boxing. They both deserve their respect and props and if Arum ever allows the fight to get made they'll shatter all records and it will probably take at least another generation, if not two, for their record to get broke.

Manny sells more tickets but Floyd generates more box office revenue because he prices his tickets a bit higher.

Still think it's weird that Showtime never confirmed Arum's 1.3 million ppv sales claims for Manny and Shane.

If the brokers and casinos bought tickets to sell, can they return unsold tickets and get their money back? If they cannot then technically, the fight is sold out. Tickets that are bought for resale are tickets already sold.

sold out or not the amount of people at the press conferences shows how special these fighters are.

technically the fight is sold out, but that's "technically"
the problem here is that people are trying to say one fighter sold out quicker then the other and are talking ****.

no one knows how many tickets brokers and casinos have to sell/give out for the fights.
