Mayweather/Ortiz tickets sold out the same day the tickets dropped. The tickets available now are black market. Here is a testimony from a guy that tried to cop some tickets the day the tickets dropped.
SourceWhat's up Fight Fans.. Going to use the forum to voice my opinion... Thanks in advance..
I'm an average dude with a middle class salary, working 6 days a week. So when word got out about Mayweather/Ortiz tickets going on sale today @ 1pm EST. I was pumped up, I dont mind paying the $150 or $300 tag per ticket to see a fight.
I had 5 people on ticketmaster and on the phone with ticketmaster trying to help me score tickets.. The second the clock hit 1pm EST. ALL TICKETS WERE SOLD OUT. Now this isnt the 1st time this happened, Ive been trying to attent the last several Pac or Floyd Fights and the same **** happens.
Why do they even say that tickets go on sale to General Public, when they know. No such tickets are available. I know the Casino and the sponsors need there share, but when you keep on having events that normal people cant attend its just ****ed up.
I really wish there was a legit was to get tickets in the sport of boxing.
Thanks for listening...Comment

Sold out means sold out. If you go to a store for a cd and they're SOLD OUT that means they don't have 1 cd to sell you. If I can buy a ticket for the Pacquia fight from ticketmaster they are NOT sold out.Comment

No, there's PLENTY of tickets left through ticketmaster. You don't have to get them through the 'black market'
