i agree, and i dont know how that dude is comparing a fight to the fight serg had with pavlik who is 6 foot 1 and has a huge reach....mayweather doesnt present those problems

i rewatched the hatton mayweather fight tonight and floyd had a lot of problems with hattons movement coming at him at angles. hatton landed a lot of lead hooks, plus hatton flying into floyd all night wore him down a bit and stiffled his ability to counter.

ortiz has a good chance to beat floyd with the right gameplan, he cant out box floyd but he can out work him and win rounds on activity

look at martinez's resume...this dude hasnt fought or beat an elite fighter. I mean if you call Pavlik or Williams ELITE.....40 year old hopkins dismantled Pavlik while Sergio seemed to struggle at times prior to the cuts on Pavliks face. Look at the record of Martinezs opponents..you have to be kidding me. Dont let the Paul Williams KO fool you, He isnt on the level of Mayweather...this guy got knocked out by Antonio Margarito..let me guess..he was green right?

Also he doesnt have a higher KO% than Mayweather and he has fougth much much much worse competition.

I can see Martinez possibly handing Mayweather his first loss if the fight happens. I saw the Hatton fight several times and Floyd spanked him. The only thing Hatton could do was hold Mayweather and try to hit. Most of the times when he came in, Ricky caught a right in his face. Floyd beat him up for 10 rounds but great fight though.

Look at his resume, up until 2 years ago, nobody knew who he was because he was fighting bum azz competition. in 2008 he fought a dude that was 14-10-0 in a 4 rounder. 2 fights before that he fought a guy that was 3-34-2. He hasnt beat any elite guys yet IMO. Williams has always been overrated as well as Pavlik. Martinez has not displayed the boxing skills that would beat Mayweather.

also, floyd would land one punch then tie up immediately, i forgot how much floyd held, he didnt have the ability to counter like normal because hatton came flying in over the top, so floyd changed his strategy and shot lead rights down the pipe then immediately held...

watch it again...it was a tough and physical fight...

Manny has already shown numerous vulberabilities in the fact that he can be easily hit. If these guys, who are nowhere near as talented as Mayweather are able to find Manny, how easy will it be for Floyd?

They may be into the hype now but that will die down and analyst will truly be able to criticize Manny's opponents. The key thing is "WHEN HE FOUGHT THEM".
