I mean, whatever the age, If I think the fighter has what it takes at that age to win, then I'll bet him.

I bet on Hopkins to beat Pascal recentyl for example and many many many other times.

It all depends really. History shows that.

And as for Saturday, I don't see it. I would be very very shocked if the fight was close.
Yeah but come on, listen to Pascal. You think Ortiz is bad? .

    Nah, you're right lol.

Same as NBA basketball. SKills, footwork, balance, feints (headfakes). Ask Paul Williams. If dude could learn to keep his left hand up we might have seen one of the greates ever. But he is sloppy with his technique so he is where he is.

Dunn, what's up? Are you mad because I said Ortiz will be competitive with Floyd? Why are you bringing up the Punisher?

I've got to tell you, the whole 'TAKE DE TEST, BURNARD' is seriously one of my favourite moments of the new era

Is that really the only argument for Ortiz? He's big, strong, and younger? What about the fact he has no way of actually delivering that power or making that size matter in any way that matters?

To illustrate the point about skills thats all. If he had better skill, ie kept his hands up, he'd be a much better fighter instead of at a crossroads.

No that's not the only argument homey. Tell me this, who in the last 4 years has Floyd beaten that's better than Ortiz is now. When you do, take into consideration the the age of that fighter & the weightclass. After that add to it that Floyd hasn't even had more than 3 fights in the last 4 years. Then talk about Ortiz being big, strong with comparable speed. No way of actually delivering the power is simply ****** talk,(no disrespect). But Floyd is not going to go 12 rounds against a young, big, strong, fast fighter without feeling Ortiz's power. He 34 & coming off of another long layoff. Bookmark this tread Jangles & remember I told you so.
