ppl will slate jc's resume but will put joe louis up there.look at his and anyone elses record from that time.ppl fought hundred and odd fights because they where fighting substandard opposition 90 percent of the time

are you seriously comparing joe "i dont want tough fights"(actual quote) calzaghe to joe louis? louis fought almost every top fighter in the world for over 12 years(cept when he was in the army). he fought 20 title fights against top 10 ring rated fighters and a bunch more on his way to the title. he beat the linear champ and the top 3 contenders his first year as champ. as champ 90 percent of the time louis was fighting highly ranked fighters. most of the time calzaghe wasn't(8 out of 21). he never fought a ranked fighter to get a title shot and while champ he never even fought the number 1/2 guy(sven ottke) for most of his time at super middle.
