Calzaghe was undefeated as an amateur? How many amateur fights did he have? Thats ****ing weird, everyone has losses as an amateur. I never really heard of an undefeated amateur unless he barely had any amateur fights.

I can name at least 50 other guys better than him who have done the same thing, aside from maybe the undefeated record. But his record was padded with lots of cab drivers. And the Jones fight was a joke.

I have Joe in the top 100 as well, kind of hard to say exactly where, but he's there.

Undefeated is a reason why he isn't a Top 20 ATG.

Anyone who fought fighters great enough to get a Top 20 spot will NEVER be undefeated.

And Joe Calzaghe beat 2 Top 50 ATG's yes.....Shame one of them completely shot and the other one was heading toward his mid-40's.

He's not Top 100. Why?

A combination of a very weak resume and a vast amount of great fighters he's competing with who accomplished alot more.

He's definitely not top 20 ATG. Better fighters, with better cv's. He'd probably make it into the top 100 but other than maybe the Eubank, Kessler & Lacy fight (just because of how hyped Lacy was) I don't really rate Joe's opponents. Hopkins as well but I still can't believe he won that fight.
