honestly I've given up looking. Too much wasted time and too much tough talk from the people I've worked with. In the end all any of them were just tough talkers. One guy had potential but he was involved in high school sports already. The summer showed and he never came back.

I'm just planning on recertification of my pro and amatuer reffing and judging when I recover. The reffing may not happen again but the judging is certainly in my future. A tough kid with some grit might show up one day and I'd have someone to train, but I'm not holding my breathe on that one.......Rockin'

I took it up at the tender age of 44. I've been a gym rat most of my life and meet a guy at my local YMCA who boxed pro. After knowing him for a couple of years I asked him if I could train with him and we started sparring twice a week. Sometimes he would bring one of his buddies in to spar with me. I'm not pretending to have been at their level...they were pro's... I was a novice. It was a great experience while it lasted (about a year) and proved to myself you're really never to old to test yourself at something new.

I had a stroke a little over 2 years ago, my left side is still pretty messed up.

I could take them to just about any gym in Detroit or Michigan for that matter. I've been involved for the better part of the last 25 years. They all know me and I know all of them.

I'm closer to Flint now with where I'm living now but I would still go to Detroit for the work......Rockin'

Sure thing if you're in Michigan.

If you wanted to meet up to watch some fights that would be cool. I could introduce you to who ever might be there. The old fighters tend to frequent the fights alot, it's like a reunion. Bring your autograph book........Rockin'

                      This is fucking rich.

Larry bloody X hasn't boxed a day in his pathetic, would-be criminal life.
