Instead of coming with guesses and assumptions, why not see the fight for yourselves? There were no headbutts occurring on his eye-region when Zaveck got cut. Watch the replay. And do it again. It's clear that it's a left hook and a right uppercut that made those cuts.

Roy even mentions it during the replays.

You have to feel bad for Zaveck. He was so upset about the fight being stopped, and its definitely not like he was being outclassed, it was a very close and competitive fight.


Regardless where the cuts came from, I would very much like to see a rematch.

I remember being pretty shocked that Zaveck's face was so messed up as I was watching the fight. All that damage seemed to come out of nowhere, and that was a very deep cut.

Yeah the rate of damage on Zavec was extremely insane with a deep cut above the right eyelid. Almost like he was fighting a heavyweight, or the opponent had loaded gloves. Because I haven't seen anyone so badly damaged after a Berto fight before. Even moreso because Zavec was actually blocking those shots pretty well. Not that Berto landed a lot of clean shots. It was one or more headbutts that caused this, but for some reason the REF in the ring didn't see it (it wouldn't really change anything even if he did). Although I don't blame him because that happened really fast. The GIFs are probably 5-10x slower.
