On the current 24/7 Mayweather/Ortiz series in Episode 2; I was so proud of how 50 Cent stood up to Floyd in telling him not to be arguing with his daddy. Additionally, he told him that his father loved him and just wanted a little recognition and appreciation for the contributions he has made to help bolster his career. That took a lot of courage on his part and at least in my opinion, the mark of a true friendship. Friends speak their mind to each other and tell the other exactly what they need to know, rather than being some yes man or flunky and telling the other what they want to hear. However, what really impressed me was how well Mayweather took the criticism. He may not have liked or agreed with what 50 had to say but at least he stayed there and listened to him. It just goes to show the level of respect he has for 50 Cent. Also, it's a lot easier for 50 to tell Floyd, Jr. what he needs to know because he is not dependent on his financial support unlike so many others who are. However, had that been Uncle Roger, Leonard Ellerbe or any other member of his crew telling him that, he would have fired them like he did his daddy, since they all have vested financial interests in him. However, 50 Cent on the other hand is different. He is not an employee of Floyd. Therefore, Mayweather cannot manipulate or control him with his money so he can say what the others cannot say and get away with it.

I felt like they should have let Floyd Sr slap the hell out Floyd Jr.
Don't disrespect your Father like that no matter what. Especially in public on camera he should know better. I would never talk to my Father like that in a billion years.

50 Cent did the right thing to say that to floyd but his dad needs to chill sometimes with all that I am the best stuff. He should just be happy for his son it's his son time to shine now not his dad. He should just be happy for his son every father wants his son to do better than him one day. when his dad gets in front of the cameras it's all about him that he started it the whole boxing thing and he wants to train him now. I mean everybody knows Mayweather Sr wants to train Jr. But than money knows that it will be the Mayweather Sr show I mean it is sad.

I know that it sounds dumb, but I really look up to 50, and its not because he is black and a rapper... Im talking on a real person level....
He grew without his parents, had nothing, and was on a road to no where. He came out and found his nitch, but unlike others he didnt just stay in his lane.. He went out and expanded and became a better all around person, even when he was taking stuff for it.
For someone that comes from such a ****ty background to be able to come up, and be as successful as he is, you got to give props....
