now what in your mind thinks people will give him credit for beating Manny?

all of these fighters were dubbed pre-fight as the one to take Mayweather off his stool.

but after floyd wins, they were washed up, too old, or too small. so just stop.
Neither one of them were as great as Pac is. Pac is a true ATG fighter. Floyd has never fought a true ATG fighter in his career. Oscar is a first ballot HOF'er no doubt. But, not an ATG by any means.

And, the ones who were "too small" were not as proven as Pac is at WW.

And, really neither one that you mentioned has been fighting at a high level as consistent as Pac has been recently.

Again hands down this is by far the greatest fighter Floyd has ever fought. Hell Pac is greater than Floyd himself. And, Floyd has been the greatest fighter Pac has fought.

I don't consider Oscar, Hatton or Mosley the best win of Floyd career. Chicanito, Corrales, Castillo wins were much greater. But, a victory over Pac would be the greatest win in Floyd HOF career and vice versa.

because he is p4p #1 . hatton wasnt, oscar wasnt, and shane wasnt.
oscar was not the #1 ranked jmw at the time, shane wasnt the #1 or 2 ranked ww at the time, and hatton before the fight took place, smart boxing fans knew he wasn't near floyds caliber. he struggled against collazo. and was moving up in weight. he still got credit for all those wins though and no one blames him for fighting those guys, what i do blame him for is retiring after the hatton fight, when he was in the most loaded division i have seen in a while, he had a undefeated cotto, a couple monsters in pwill and margs, not to mention shane , while he was more in his prime. he could have cleaned out a great division but the $ just wasnt worth the risk, and that wont fight top rank guys is complete bull ****, when it comes to $ or cementing your legacy you toss petty stuff like that aside.

And sure Manny isn't as faded as gatti was but there's no denying he was clearly showing signs of wear and tear in his last fight, even though mosley barely engaged manny was not as crisp, cramping, even appeared to be fatigue at times and missing a lot think its safe to say we've all seen the best of a 30+ Pacquiao which was him moving up vs cotto & hatton..
Now all we have to do is Convince FRAUD, to RISK the 0!!!
but unfotunately Boy, has an AVERSION to fighting Pac!!!

My point is, this cycle will only repeat it self untill Floyd loses or retires for good. He doesnt get his props from the boxing community at all. Sure there are some of us who respect him and his record. It's not many though...

I have a feeling it will be Amir or Sergio that the boxing community claims he is ducking next.

You guys really don't know your heads from a hole-in-the-ground. This was the most sickening display of egotistical narcissism that I have ever come across, and just reinforces my contempt for such a creature.

To be flashing his "mansion" and thousands of dollars as chump change to guys who are risking their lives for comparative peanuts, but from patriotism, and sworn to protect a dirt like Floyd Mayweather is a position I would not like to have to make a choice about.

The whole grovelling, syncophantic article shows a REAL lack of intelligence and comprehesion which is staggering for the possessor of a reputed $70 million.

Sickening...just sickening. And I was just going to have my dinner.

That can't be said about Hatton, no other Floyd opponent are as great as Pac.

It will be damn near impossible for Floyd not to get credit for Pac. Matter of fact it's Floyd fans/Pac haters who probably won't give Floyd credit or at the least shouldn't. Because, they keep downplaying Pac career/success and vice versa.

Of course the focus after will be the next guy that Floyd should fight. But, if Floyd keeps fighting why shouldn't that be the discussion?

Do you think if Pac beats Floyd and keeps fight that fans won't call far him to fight the next thread? Yea OK...
You missed the point as at the end of the day, Pac will still be the "smaller" fighter who Floyd "cherry picked". Just like there was an excuse for De La Hoya who had all the advantages and the #1 WW Mosley. There will be one for Pac no matter how many losing in-house recycled former champions (coming off their worst perforamce of there careers) Pac faces at WW.

The result will be the same for Khan (JWW) as it will be for WBC WW Champion Ortiz (former JWW). Like I said no matter WHO it is even when a Champion at any weight, until Floyd is beaten he will get zero credit for any victory. It's what makes him so popular, people just love to hate. I've seen it happen for years. There is always an excuse and there will be one for Pac. Especially Pac. People will be too pissed to give credit.

Also, IMO the De La Hoya that Mayweather fought beats the Cotto, Clottey, Margarito and Mosley that Pac fought. I also think the Hoya that Mayweather fought beats the Pac that Margarito fought.

He siad he had leg muscle cramps and his camp said he had been experiencing them throughout the camp.
