Mosley became old, way passed his prime and inactive during that period. That is a disastrous combination!!!

    - For sure, if Mosley was old against Floyd he certainly was old but not inactive against Manny. Due to that fact, you can give them both just so much credit for those wins as that was nothing close to the Mosley we knew.

    - With Marquez, Marquez vs Floyd fought at 146, it was the first time Marquez ever fought that high and he lost to Floyd. Many true WWs have lost to Floyd.

    - So we really do not know what will happen against Manny .... because Marquez knows Manny very well, the weight is at 144 (not 146), Manny is not a big WW and Manny had a tough time with Marquez before. That being said, Manny will be the favorite as he has done more at WW, is younger and Marquez is older.

    - I said before the fight was made, Manny should win this one with Marquez and Manny should instead fight the next big thing (left) in WW or look up or down one division .... but you just never know with these 2 as history has proven that it can be an interesting match-up again.

    - Marquez vs Manny fought twice at weights that Marquez was at his best. Floyd NEVER did that with Marquez!

    - Let's hope that Marquez was just built to give Manny enough trouble to make it a good fight again. Just like a Frazier always gave Ali trouble but was smoked by Foreman twice and Ali KOed Foreman ..... Styles make fights, remember that....

    - Manny has done more than fight Mosley and Marquez since 2007. That is all that Floyd has to show for ... OLD INACTIVE MOSLEY and nowhere near WW MARQUEZ!!! and you said that Manny is a fraud??? Then what should we call Floyd? Geeeeez!

    - Finally, all I said was that I disagreed with the guy that incorrectly stated that Mosley and Marquez that Floyd faced were so hot ... I said NOT TRUE ... not even close!!! ...

Well, Margarito just came back off of suspension because of cheating and Pac still fought him at a catchweight. Whatever you say about Marquez and Mosley don't take away the fact that Pac is fighting them after and ESPECIALLY the fact that he is fighting JMM at the same catchweight that you down Floyd for fighting him at.

Floyd was inactive too. Mosley was passed his prime, inactive but coming off of a win against Floyd. Against Pac. Mosley was way past it, beat up and shut down by Floyd and had a terrible draw against Mora. How could you give no credit to Floyd for beating Mosley and fighting Marquez (at the same catchweight eventhough Pac is about the same size if not a lil smaller) but give it to Pac after the fact? Shows how bias you are.

To be flashing his "mansion" and thousands of dollars as chump change to guys who are risking their lives for comparative peanuts, but from patriotism, and sworn to protect a dirt like Floyd Mayweather is a position I would not like to have to make a choice about.

The whole grovelling, syncophantic article shows a REAL lack of intelligence and comprehesion which is staggering for the possessor of a reputed $70 million.

Sickening...just sickening. And I was just going to have my dinner.

What is so great about it? Had to be a reason why the troops wanted to see and talk to Floyd Mayweather Jr. You guys are acting like they just heard of Mayweather when they joined the army. Floyd is Floyd and all he is doing is promoting the fight with Ortiz. What about when Floyd said this to the troops?

“God bless you, thank you for fighting for this country... the red white and blue, there’s nothing better than this country, America - you guys are great, thank you so much… from the bottom of my heart.” Continuing, “You know, you guys are out there [fighting] in 120 degree weather so, if you guys can make [that] sacrifice, why can’t Floyd Mayweather make a sacrifice?” asked the Michigan born boxer to the Soldiers of mostly 1st Battalion 6th Field Artillery HHB “Hellions”(Task Force Centaur) and other Soldiers of Task Force Duke
              Or this.....

“Everytime we get someone new in the White House, they always say they’re gonna bring you (Servicemen and women) home; well it’s time to bring y'all home. You know what I’d do? I’d be buying jets and sending them over there to pick you all up, that’s what I’d do. Gotta send the jets over there to pick y’all up and bring y’all back home.”

With all the bravado and swagger that only an undefeated fighter can possess, Floyd Mayweather showed he is more than just a self-promoting boxer. He proved he was a supporter of the troops and offered to put on an exhibition - meet-and-greet for the Servicemembers of FOB Salerno, Afghanistan after he makes “easy work” of Oritz and prior to his “biggest contract ever” against whom he hints is ”Poochiao.”

Sounds like he was showing the troops mad love and respect and all his haters can point out is that he pulled out a pocket full of money? Always trying to find something to bash Floyd. Disregarded everything he said to the troops trying to keep their spirits uplifted to come down on him for showing money and his house? Who did you think they were going to see?

                • Floyd is such a ****** for showing off. Instead of blowing his money on hookers and strippers, he should be giving it to the soldiers that protect his freedom. Damn ****** Porch-Monkey!

Is it because what they did at the WW division perhaps? More than likely, however Pac is much more proven at the WW division than those no? If there is any other Floyd opponents who were labeled "too small" then please name them.

And, LOL @ your last paragraph. F'ing ey man smh.
You missed the point again. The excuse is ALWAYS there and I'm not going to debate De La Hoya with you.

Again, Small, medium, large, extra large, old, young, strong, weak, fast, slow, etc no matter WHAT there will always be an excuse (MY POINT).

Hatton, JMM, Ortiz, Khan and eventually Pac will all be labeled as "too small". Recent example, Mosley was "too old", Ortiz is "too young". Always an excuse even when these fighters are Champions, knocking people the F**K OUT and are everything Cotto, Clottey, Margarito and Mosley WASN'T when they stepped in the ring with Pac.

When Floyd makes Pac look worse than Mosley did and walks away the victor you think people will be happy enough to give Floyd credit? Be 100.... No, there will be an excuse and Floyd will be ducking (insert name). People will move on and the cycle repeats itself like it has done several times already. Give it time and history will repeats itself. You will see.
