i can't really respond to you because i just don't agree. I throw pac and mayweather out of every equation, there is no rationality when it comes to those guys. But yes, i believe andre berto gets twice the hate that judah, cotto, marg, and rios get combined. Just so you understand, i don't like andre berto, he's an ameribum, but white and black americans clearly get the most hate on this site. Not mexican-americans, just white and black americans. Look at any white american that is able to make it up. Litzau, pavlik-bring up any of their names and they'll be treated like hitler. How many of those fighters are in their late 20's and don't have a single very good/ impressive win to their resume?

That's what seperates Berto to most of those names.

They're either in their early 20's and haven't had time to have an impressive resume or they are around the same age bracket as Berto except they actually have good/impressive wins I.e Ward, Bradley, Williams etc etc etc.

Berto get's critisized like he does because out of all the overhyped fighters out there, he is probably the worst, and he definitely has the worst resume. YET, he gets overhyped more than any of the others.

Him or Devon Alexander. But atleast Devon is a youngster.

God, what fighter doesn't get rebuilt after a god damn first loss?

Amir Khan, loses to Prescott by TKO1. Gets a bunch of light hitting fighters like Kotelnik, Malignaggi, Salita, McCloskey, and a old ass Zab Judah who's seen his best days. That's rebuilding a fighter. UK media hyping him up, trying to rebuild him, put him out there again. Nobody cares, everybody praises him, McCloskey fights ends up with cut by headbutt from Khan, nobody cares.

An Al Haymon fighter is in the process of getting rebuilt, it's a big deal , OMG HBO, fuck you Max, Haymon sucks ****, don't rebuild him, don't praise him, he sucks, blah blah blah.


Man...Boxing fans suck. While watching the fight with some firends who enjoyed Berto-Zaveck, I forgot what the real world in boxingscene is like. I actually enjoyed the fight, then log in here and see nothing but hate, like always, against a fighter who wins. Any fighter who wins, has his pack of idiots making negative threads about his performance, always. That's why the sports world looks down on Boxing so much, how can any one like a sport that YOU hate on so much?

So you're saying Berto isn't over hyped? Really?

Hasn't he won 'Best prospect' like twice? I know he has won it.

The commentary last night were talking utter nonsense literally the entire fight.

He's overhyped by people on here who for some reason think he is better than he is. Which fortunately is only a small percentage.

The rest just see him for what he is; Not very good.
