The truth. And we'll say the same about Ortiz in a few years. Yea he was prime, but no where near Floyd's level/and or a quitter if he pulls that **** again.

What about Hopkins?? I remember people thinking Lacy would smash him but i could be mistaken on the actual odds.

All these Calslappy nuthuggers have is ''he is 46-0''
He is a joke, the Sven Ottke of Wales. True boxing fans know this, in fact most Welsh people I know even acknowledge his career consisted of ducking anything with a pulse.
Robin Reid beat the head off him & was robbed, he hit nothing but B-hop's gloves & arms and was awarded a gift decision. Not to mention at least half a dozen ridiculously premature stoppage wins where he didn't even hit his opponent once with his flurry-slaps.

Say what you like, facts are B-Hop & Roy was well over 40 & their best days behind them. Joe ducked way too many prime fighters to be considered great. He ran from Johnson like the plague, Froch, Dawson, Pavlik etc

His C.V is nothing, beat two old men (1 is arguable) & a robotic Kessler. Just shows how badly you are clutching at straws when you have to mention Jeff ****in Lacy!

HAHAHAHA WATCH THESE LIKE WOW MAN BRUTAL STOPPAGES OR WHAT HAHAHAA! OH MY SIDES LOL

lol at this idiot i could give a **** about Calzaghe. He beat a tough fighter in Kessler and he beat Hopkins who still was a top fighter even if he was in his forty's. At the time he fought Lacy many thought Lacy would smoke him. We know now Lacy sucks but that wasnt the case at the time.

Calzaghe deserves more respect than he gets from the scrubs on this site. The dude was a real badass fighter.

Even if true, 2 'good' wins in a 46 fight career is absolutely terrible.

Prime or not Ortiz is not on the level of Floyd Jr. Remember that before placing your bets.

chyeah... a prime fighter that got dropped multiple times in his last fight against an Al Haymon hypejob, got a draw against an average boxer with decent boxing skills in lamont peterson, and quit against an unskilled brawler in maidana.... yeah.. okay.
