Atlas seems to be bringing Povetkin along like he is going for a PhD instead of relevance as a HW contender -- Teddy, either your guy can fight or he can't -- keeping him under wraps year after year won't do anyone any good -- he's not 18 years old, you know....

well he guided moorer to 2 world titles & now has povetkin as the # 1 or 2 heavyweight in the world. atlas knows what he is doing...THE ONLY GUYS WHO HATE ON ATLAS ARE KLITSCHKO FANS because atlas is from the era(90's)where both klitschkos were irrelevant.you haters are quick to forget that or you are not old enough to understand or remember.vitali was protected & fighting stiffs like herbie hide & cleaning up the purrity mess left by wlad & then the byrd fiasco while guys like tua,maskaev,rahman,toney,ruiz,lennox,byrd,tyson,ho lyfield,mercer,golota,grant,bowe,etc were all fighting each other for positioning in thew rankings.vitali was just as old as most of theses guys but they chose to have him fight limited opposition & his first real american exposure he quit vs byrd.as irrelevant as that is now,it wasnt irrelevant then.ALL of you klitschko fans would have called vitali a bum or a coward or a ***** after the byrd fight just like you do to all the rest of the guys who lose today...guys like atlas know that they are not indestructible from past experience but today the talent pool is weak in america because most kids go to basketball, baseball,football instead of boxing.the only reason euros are dominating is because your sports of choice are soccer,cricket or boxing where as in the US there is how many pro sports to choose from? boxing dont pay like the NHL,NFL,NBA,golf,MLB,tennis,etc...

Agree. World title my ass. That wba belt is klitshko's. Povetkin is 31. What more seasoning does he need and, if he needs it, whynhasn't he been more active? He has no name because he won't fight the few heavyweights with name recognition. He'll make a **** name for himself fighting evander and rahman. Atlas is a trainer. Stopmtalkimg like a promoter.
