Valuev vs Vitali would be a great spectacle, and it would do great business.
I am an American who also happens to be a huge fan of the "Real Deal", or at least a fan of the old version. With that said I don't even think that the fight was a draw. And I also don't believe that Evander did enough to beat the Beast.

What I was saying was, that Valuev never fought in Bern, he fought in Zurich and Basel, total 2 fights.

Picking on a 61 year old man? Oh boy. I would love to see Vitali knock out this Valuev.

man he was DEFENDING his wife's honor. and he didn't "beat the **** out of him". to me, it sounded like an incident where the guy wasn't even hurt, but he just wanted money from a lawsuit. he said the security guard's behavior was "typical russian boorishness"

in fact, im pretty sure he just like grabbed the dude and man handled him a little bit. . . . we would all do the same if our wife was harmed or even verbally attacked to a certain degree. and, there are PLENTY of capable 61 year olds. you never heard of EPIC BEARD MAN aka VIETNAM TOM?

hahaha medved - how will valuev go out?

but edgarg i feel you, nobody wants to see anybody seriously hurt, not any real boxing fans anyway. i agree, i do think valuev has a medical condition of some sort, and while he will probably make it past 40's because he has the financial ability to buy medicines, receive treatment, etc. - i guarantee when he hits 50's, or 60 - he will have a plethora of ailments, and will have hard time getting around.

Yeah but then again you're not a 7 ft, 300 lb professional boxer.

When you're a 7 ft, 300 lb professional boxer, you know what your hands & strength are capable of doing-- you should know better how to treat a 61 year old man. Valuev's action was very irresponsible, hence he was fined.

As I've said, I would love to see Vitali knock out this bully and teach him a lesson.

If Vitali was 34 It'd make sense just to try to kill Valuev in the ring peasants with pitchforks style, but at 40, Vitali needs to really keep targeting guys who will increase his legacy. Beating Valuev would be treated about the same as beating Holyfield or Toney at this point. If Valuev can beat Helenius then its a legit fight, if he can't then Vitali can finish his career in a huge fight against Helenius.
              Interesting notion....

but he didn't punch him. he just grabbed him by the neck and shook him. valuev taught HIM a lesson for treating women badly.

what was he supposed to do? he couldn't do NOTHING - the security guard put his hands on his wife

When you're a 7 ft tall 300 lb professional boxer, grabbing a 61 year old man by the neck and shaking him is a very irresponsible thing to do since it is very dangerous and may cause serious injuries to the neck or spine of the old man. What was Valuev thinking?!? What a bully. And bullies deserve to be knocked out by Vitali.

Well it seems he was defending his wife who looks to beb about 4'3"and about 80 lbs. As far as I remember what I read didn't intimate that Valuev had hit or pushed the man at all, but had "intimidated" him. Probably appeared to him suddenly and got in between them.

Valuev has never been involved in any kind of scandal that boxers seem to delight in, and I'm sure knows very well, as all boxers do, that a boxers fists are regarded as deadly weapons by the Law, like a bludgeon or a knife. So he wouldn't have hit him anyway, not being like the macho guys who don't care if they appear in court or have their names in the news.

Well a 61 year old man is still no match for a 4'3" lady who is accompanied by a 7' tall 300lb professional boxer.

Even if Valuev didn't hit the poor man, he grabbed him by the neck and shaked the 61 year old man's frail body. Valuev's lucky he was merely fined. If the old man was my father I'd bring Valuev to court. That was a very irresponsible act.
