Lol and that is why I am dying to see the fight!

Haha Lennox Lewis gave his best piece of commentating when Nate Campbell beat Ali Funeka - Funeka, a 6'0'' lightweight got KD'd by Campbell and Lewis said "OH, TIMBERRR!"

Come on, you know Vitali would have made MUCH more than 4 million dollars with all his sponsorships, tv deals, etc. But like I clarified, I guess it's easy for me to say that 1.5 million is nothing for vitlai, and he should just give it up so I can be pleased with the fight being made.
Well, Klitschko may have made more than that, and again, maybe he wouldn't. Their contract with the German TV Co. (who show their fights free) pays them, I think, only about $3 mill or maybe $3.5 mill per fight, I know it's considered low, so they depend on their huge popularity in Germany, and I'd say in Europe generally, to make a good profit. And why they fight in large stadia.

They fight a lot, although top fighters, but I don't see them on any Forbes list of top Sports Star earnings.......Many top fighters wouldn't fight as much each year as they do because of tax liabilities etc. but I don't think they earn anything like a Pacquiao or a Mayweather, even though they are heavyweights, supposedly the most saleable division. And I think they support many charitable institutions with their own money.

The only reason to make this fight is to see what happens to Valuev when he gets knocked out, does he fall backwards flat? Does he stagger? does he do the Kostya Tzyu Chicken Dance?

I actually think Wlad can KO Valuev much easier, he will just make him eat 1-2's all night long before stopping him late in the round.

Since they have their own promotional company they make alot of money per fight, dont forget all the people in the crowd who buy the tickets and buy the beers/tshirts and the TV money.

They dont release their networth because whats the point of screaming how much money you have or how big your house is?

These guys are both very smart and while they might not make as much as Floyd or Pacq in 1 fight they make more than them in 1 year because they fight atleast 2-3 times.

and that money doesnt go into Cars or Boats. It all gets invested. Forbes list is just a guesstimate of yearly salary + investments in persons name + other random factors.

If you have everything invested and not bragging about what you buy they will never know how much you are worth.

Someone reported last year that Vitali or Wlad (maybe both) had a portfolio of houses/properties of around $50m, no idea of the truth.

Im guessing they make around 10m~13m per fight from the Fight Purse + Sponsorship money + Tv Deal + Arena deal

I wouldn't like to see Valuev KO'd at all, you guys are too sadistic for me. He would be outclassed and it would just not be right, to see a decent guy who has never harmed anyone get beaten up. A man as slow as he should not be fighting at all, and the fact that he is, is a bit astonishing. because of his build, and to me he looks a bit acromegalic.

When I was growing up it was very unusual for a guy his size and condition to live past the age of 40, often much less, and subject to all sorts of ailments.

Oh yeah? never harmed anyone? I remember Valuev being fined previously for hurting a 61 year old man.

Picking on a 61 year old man? Oh boy. I would love to see Vitali knock out this Valuev.

                  bingo.

Its much better than watching Vitali beat up some fat guy like usual. At least we get to see a tree get felled.

Its just plain intriguing to see the Klitschko bros faced against someone thats so much bigger than them, since they usually are bigger than their opponents.

I've suspected for a long time that fighters don't have all that much left out of their advertised purses when everything is paid for, and all managers, trainers, training camps, get their share. Just for curiosity, because of your post, I looked them up.

The Klitschkos are in a better position being also promoters, but it was reported on BoxingScene, last year, around May I think that they were chasing a deal with German TV for 5 fights for a sum of 15 mill EUROS. Around that time it was about $3.25 mill per fight. Now it would be worth less quantitively since the $ AND EURO have depreciated so much against the recognised basket of major currencies.

For example so much money has been rushing out of both the Dollar and EURO into Swiss Francs that the Swiss central bank causing the Swiss currency to shoot up so high that it interfered badly with their exports, that they have been actively forcing DOWN the exchange value of their currency to make themselves more competative. And they are talking again about a "NEGATIVE INTEREST RATE" for investments, meaning that not only they don't pay any interest on your investment, but they charge you to look after it. They did this about 25 years ago as well.

WK is reported to be worth $30 mill with VK worth $65 mill. Mayweather $70 mill. Sam Peter $5 mill. These figures were valid before the Haye fight.
