      I wouldn't say he failed.

Either way, it's not the point I made.

How so? His first step up fight was in his first 20 fights I believe. He also worked his way up the WBC ranks the old fashion way up until Floyd vacated and retired. I've seen plenty of guys wait longer than that to at least fight a C class fighter. And the Collazo fight only happened because Mosley chose to fight for Margarito's title instead of his. In Shane's own words "Margarito is an easier fight". I blame his team and HBO for making him believe he was such a draw by handing him these huge paychecks to fight cab drivers like Freddy Hernandez.

I'm certainly not over excited about Berto's return but i do look forward to see how he performs after his first loss.

I think Berto's a good fighter and is mostly underrated by fans on B-scene.

Collazo isnt exactly an acid test either.

He's not a test as far as elite... but it was a test to see how he handles a slicker veteran southpaw fighter.

Collazo gave Hatton all he could handle also.

Collazo should not be a test for a world champion.

And IMO he lost to Collazo, that why I said that he failed it.

Hatton unproven at welter, and his main strength at light-welter, his size to bully go at welter.
