Mayweather snr had Oscar winning by a couple of rounds.

Oscar's performances against Forbes and Pacquiao show the level Oscar was at then.

Floyd has never really had a truly great win, because he has avoided the tough fights since leaving lightweight.

I had Floyd beating Oscar but not by a huge margin, 2 rounds, 4 round at most and Oscar was past his best but Floyd could not dominate him.

Makes you think what a prime Oscar would have done to Floyd.

take it from the guy who was sitting right at ringside:

"the guy deserves an oscar for some of the stuff he says. there is no way i would consider him to be the best pound-for-pound fighter in the world. he is good but he made a fool of himself against oscar de la hoya. he was in the greatest fight of his career and he just ran and ran like a chicken. de la hoya brought that fight to him all night but I didn't like his style and the way he approached the fight. i thought he was very lucky to win on points." -- george foreman

This is the equivalent of Jim Lampley going "****, ****, ****" when manny didn't land a punch.

Fanboys and casual fans get confused between big promotional wins and big fight wins. TS just exposing himself thinking Dela was Floyd's best win cause it was the most hyped fight he(Floyd) has ever been in

Nope, because Oscar was semi-retired, washed up and past his prime at the time with 4 losses on his record; With one coming by way of knockout, courtesy of Bernard Hopkins.
