I think Donaire is Overrated and im not buying all the hype. Dude needs to move up to a real weight-class instead of the current dead bantamweight. Since anyone with any skills doesnt stay at bantamweight for long.

Or is Lowblow Mares considered the #2 guy in the division? #3 with a 40 year old Vic who has been in more wars than Napoleon

Yeah that makes sense. Promote him on the other side of the country from his home town. Why did he resign a contract with Top Rank again? anyone?

So...Donaire is expected to fight Narvaez, who's spent most of his career at flyweight and has five fights at super flyweight, in October? Yet, Arum's talking about Nonito fighting Gamboa next year at 126? I don't see how fighting Omar prepares the "Filipino Flash" for the heavier divisions....

Why? Most of his fan base is here in the West Coast.

i don't think he resigned a NEW contract, but rather he decided to honor the rest of his contract, which will not expire until like 2013. He didn't have a choice - either sit out for two years or fight for Arum.
