Can you imagine Amir losing the WBA world title and then fighting for the same title in his next fight?

The crazy part is not only him immediately fighting for the interim belt again, it's against who he is fighting it for. Erik Morales, a shot to **** career featherweight. It was clear that the whole set-up was to make Maidana the interim champion again. But Maidana is such a big bum that he couldn't even beat a shot to s*t career featherweight.

And now, Maidana is getting yet another handout. The WBA has made him world champion...

    What a fraud.

How many more handouts will this bum get?
I agree on the belt part especially the part were this guy maidana has had too many shots at the belt and failed he must have offered the WBA one of his farms. However, he aint a bum far from it hes top 5 in the LWW division for sure

The thing people forget is Khan is still getting bigger, stronger, and all around BETTER. This was clearly shown in his fight against Zab where he clearly looked bigger and stronger than he ever has.

Yea, Maidana - Bradley would be a great fight, and we know Maidana has run like a b!tch from Bradley, but why hasn't Bradley called him out on it? It seems like Bradley doesn't want the fight either. Certainly, not anymore.

And anyone who thinks Maidana is respectful is an idiot. Maidana is an uneducated dirty street rat. No class, just a mindless thug.

Bradley does not need to call Maidana out on it..Everyone with two eyes seen Maidanas team lie about a fake back injury to get out of fighting Bradley...

Maidana fans, like Maidana himself, are the biggest crybabies in the sport.

lol do you even watch boxing?
or do you learn about it on the boards?

how the hell is cortez peeling maidana off of amir going to help maidana out?

he was telling him to "fight clean" throughout the fight
              without elaborating

or even finding anything specific to cite him for

fight clean is not one of the commands a referee should be giving. stop
              break
hands are free. punches up, etc.

thats cortez job. not to tell maidana to simply "fight clean"

and second, you clearly don't know much about professional boxing, and finishing.

when a fighter is unable to tie up his opponents hands (both hands) he should not be given a break by the referee. and he was. many times.
              go watch the fight.

you're either biased or don't have enough of an understanding of boxing to grasp the rules regarding a hurt fighter and clinching and why they are relevant to the discussion.

              i'll repeat.
if you cannot tie a man up and he can keep his hands free the referee cannot break them. they must be allowed to fight, and the man with the advantage must be allowed to press it.
if he does (which cortez did,) he's not properly enforcing the rules in a professional boxing match.

cortez refereeing was a huge topic of conversation after that fight
the fact that you choose to ignore it comes as no surprise giving your lack of knowledge on the rules he was supposed to be enforcing.

If you are a hardcore fan you know that "Regular" champions are not world champions. The "Super" are the real champions. "Regular" champions are interim champions.

It doesn't make them, "Regular", legit champions in my eyes. Hopefully, other boxing experts should come to this conclusion as well.
