wazza being an atg nut thugger as usual but you are correct in that Chino as much as i like aint a world champ never was either but is certainly no bum and is a very good fighter who is easily good enough to win one.The organizations outside of the ibf are a joke Katsidis as much off a legend he is never was a world champ,Soto should not be in contention for a 4th title in a new weight class as 2 off his previous ones were interims. These organisations bar the ibf are making a joke outta boxing **** them

Thinking about it... a quick knock out is obviously less tough then 12 rounds of punishment...

      I stand corrected

      you guys are right.

My point was that even though Zab had a "legitimate" title belt at the time, i still rated Maidana above Judah. Judah didn't beat a champion for that belt so i didn't think that highly of it.
I agree,I ranked Maidana over Judah I also agree Maidana would have beat Mabuza..I also had Maidana beating Kottie by a point, but that fight could have went either way very close bro..But like Matts they just come up short in the biggest fights..I really do hope Maidana wins a belt soon tho,his style won't give him a long career...

To be a champion you should have to beat a champion, and the whole thing of elevating interim belt holders stinks. What is an interim belt anyway? Its a joke championship belt.

Can you imagine Amir losing the WBA world title and then fighting for the same title in his next fight?

The crazy part is not only him immediately fighting for the interim belt again, it's against who he is fighting it for. Erik Morales, a shot to **** career featherweight. It was clear that the whole set-up was to make Maidana the interim champion again. But Maidana is such a big bum that he couldn't even beat a shot to s*t career featherweight.

And now, Maidana is getting yet another handout. The WBA has made him world champion...

                What a fraud.

How many more handouts will this bum get?
Ridiculous that they gave that ugly **** a belt for losing to Khan.

Why is such a coward like Maidana rewarded for running from Bradley?

Maidana states this as info on his Twitter page:

"Official Twitter of 2-time WBA Super Lightweight champ."
                  .

EDIT: And Maidana isn't a bum, mate. I think you're crazy.
Do you see Amir, Bradley, Peterson, Alexander, Matthysse or Kotelnik struggling against a shot to **** Chop Chop Corley or losing to a shot to **** career featherweight in Morales?

                      that's also been established.

kotelnik lost to maidana (he beat alexander pretty soundly, though imo. he's a solid fighter with very good defensive skills and a great chin. no bum.)
that's been established to everybody who watched that fight.
who cares about judges . go get your own scorecard and watch the fight. chino is the cleaner and more effective puncher. kotelnik cant break an egg with those things.

maidana certainly isn't a top flight and elite fighter. but with the way they hand "world titles" out these days, i could certainly think of less deserving fighters
and if joe cortez hadn't been around to protect him late in the maidana fight he very well could have a spot at the top of 140 right now and a knockout victory over khan

anybody worth a left nut in boxing will tell you that cortez blew that fight
and took far too many opportunities to break them when khan was obviously hurt and unable to tie chino up effectively (for a ref to call break a fighter must be tied up completely. if you have a free hand the referee cannot break you. this is pro boxing. you are allowed to work if your opponent isn't strong enough to tie up both hands and have the ref break you apart.)

Tell me what did Cortez do in the tenth round that prevented Maidana from knocking Amir down, let alone knocking him out? Maidana landed numerous shots on Amir in that round but wasn't even able to knock him down. In fact, Cortez helped Maidana by breaking them up when Amir tried to clinch.

Maidana fans, like Maidana himself, are the biggest crybabies in the sport.
