Serious question, is Mayweather taking a big risk of getting severely damaged?

You can't defend Floyd or say he'll beat Manny however when Floyd himself doesn't want to fight him and keeps running away from him.

      A lot of people did.

They were basing that on Mosley stopping Margarito.

They called Mosley a legit WW threat, just like they called Baldomir the same thing. But notice now, neither of them were legit WW opponents.

You better believe, in a couple of years, Victor Ortiz will no longer be a live opponent on Floyd's resume and Floyd would still have to prove himself, against Yuriorkis Gamboa.

It's funny cause when you call bull**** on people saying they will give Floyd credit if he fights this and that person, they say no, they will give him credit for sure. Then the same people are the one's destroying Floyd's resume including that win that they say they will give him credit for.

It's also a fact that whenever Floyd cherrypicks an opponent and feels there is a guy he will be forced to fight, he takes a vacation. Happened after the Oscar fight and is happening again constantly.

        Facts, facts, facts.
You didn't say one fact in this post. You just said opinions.

        Mosley turned Floyd down twice.

He was talking to me with that & he was way off base, just so you know. I have never ever said that Mosley was not a legit win for Floyd. Mosley was the welterweight to beat when Floyd whooped him. His win over Margarito was better than any win Floyd or Pacman had had to date. Your quoting a man that was wrong to begin with.

              My take.
Ortiz would be no different of a win for Mayweather than Cotto was for Pac.

The only problem is, Cotto is Pac's best win in years and it wasn't even vs the best Cotto but vs a guy who was forced to quit in the ring. Ortiz is by no means Floyd's best win and was forced to quit too. Ortiz is just a champion like Cotto was even though Cotto won a vacant title fighting a nobody and then barley beat Clottey. Those performances validated that Cotto wasn't the same as he was before the "beating". Pac got to Cotto on the decline and coming off his worst performances of his career (like Clottey, margarito and Mosley), at least Ortiz is coming off the best performance of his career and I'm sure you would agree.

Point is, Ortiz is a solid win, just as the beaten Cotto was for Pac. Just don't flip the script on us like most everyone did about Mosley. The irony of it all, is that those same fools who did flip the script said Mosley was a solid opponent and a legit fight for Pac.

A lot more people would be hyping Ortiz if lets say Khan or Pac decided to fight him. These fools would be saying Ortiz is a GOAT. Clearly he is not. He is a solid opponent and a good fight for Floyd, equal to Pac's fight vs Cotto. Solid but not great.

Seems like no matter who he fights, people seem to know everything that guy is capable of...who the f*@k are u guys anyways??? I need to start playing the lotto...all I have to do is ask a Floyd hater what the winning numbers are and I'll be rich since they know everything.

It's a fight, anything can happen...everything everybody is swearing by is just your ****** @$$ opinion!! We can break down EVERY opponent that FLOYD, PAC, KLITZ bros, COTTO etc...takes and make it seem like they ain't $h!t!!!

Ortiz still has questions to answer but by insulting FLOYD saying he only fights guys HE KNOWS he can beat is ******ed!!!

IMO, when Floyd beat Mosley he already trumped Pacman-Cotto. But I agree with everything else.
