Floyd sr is a good trainer. When Oscar brought him in against vargas, they got the win. They also did great in the rematch of Shane mosley but was robbed. I remember during the fight, George Foreman said Mayweather is making a believer out of me. After the fight Foreman called it a conspiracy against Oscar. At the time, Oscar was getting into his promotions company. I remember I lost 20 dollars on this fight. The guy i lost 20 dollars to was sitting next to me and was shocked when they declared shane the winner. Even shane looked shocked. I thought Oscar and Sr made a good team. They did lose to Bhop, but thats Bhop....the one of a kind Bhop.

Roger has not proved to me to be a great trainer. Floyd already had the skills and that defensive style of fighting before Roger was in his corner. So he did not make Floyd Jr a great champion, it was already instilled in him by his father. Floyd Sr may not be a great trainer but he is much better than Roger.He is the one who developed Chad Dawson and he made Oscar a much better fighter. Oscar admitted that while training with him, and said he was being taught things in the ring by Sr that he had never experienced before. I think if Sr dedicated himself to a fighter, he would develope himself another world champ. I can't stand the way Jr talked to him. It was very disrespectful. I was rooting for Floyd to beat Ortiz but that was a huge turnoff. I hope Victor beats the hell out of him.Floyd Jr needs a reality check.He was blessed with a gift that was given to him by his father at a young age.He has shown that he doesn't appreciate it. That type of betrayal will not get him anymore fans and it will catch up to him one day. He better get out of boxing after this fight, or Khan, Bradley, or Martinez will get to him.Manny could, but only if he's juiced up.

The respect Floyd Jr gained from helping the Hernandez Family, was lost by insulting his Dad on National TV. Floyd Sr is as much an attention whore as Jr, but keep that nonsense in private like the rest of us. And will Someone on Team Mayweather needs to give Jr a Hug because the brother has serious Daddy Issues.

Floyd Sr is a great trainer. He was a good fighter too, prolly could have become a great one, but he passed those genes down to Floyd Jr. If you watch the fight between Sr and sugar Ray Leonard you can tell he had good speed in skills. I just think he was more involved in the streets. Prolly the money, girls, drugs whatever it can happen to anybody. Like Floyd Jr said "my dad was a hustler". He chose a different path, but he still deserves his respect from Floyd Jr and from Roger. We dont know there whole story so we dont why he makes floyd jr so mad. But i agree with Oscar hes a great trainer.

totally agree man, not only did they get the win against vargas they go the damn KO and he was juicing for their bout!! mayweather sr is a great trainer!! floyd jr as much as i like him is just saying it to hurt his feelings. they will both get over it and make up
