Good prediction . . .enjoyed it. I was kinda thinking the same. But, what if Floyd does touch the canvas like you predicted? He has never touched the canvas before, how will he react? I guess that's the question their.

Ortiz has touched the canvas a couple of times and in his last fight vs Berto showed he can overcome it. All of Victors apponents have touched the canvas when they faced him, that makes me believe Mayweather just might get knocked down...at least once.

That's something to ponder about. Will he turn into a dragon like he did in the Shane Mosley fight or will he get discouraged and hop out of his element and try to fight? I doubt the latter will happen but you never know. One thing I noticed about Floyd is that sometimes when he gets hit with a good shot he will try to pay the opponent back and sometimes this gets him into trouble. Mayweather cannot afford to get in an exchange with Victor because if he does, he'll taste the canvas for sure. Victor needs to use come with a good jab to have a shot. Look at the Mosley fight how he was hitting Mayweather with jabs down low in the first round. You can look at the Oscar fight also. A good jab can throw Mayweather's timing off and help set him up for bigger shots.

As for Mayweather all he needs to do is throw the straight right hand and continually work the body. If he does that and avoids getting hit by a big shot I think he will win by stoppage later on in the fight. I don't think he will make Ortiz quit but he can dominate him until his corner says no more or Ortiz is cut.

If you think all Ortiz fights for is the paycheck, you must've missed the Berto fight.

I never said that Ortiz fights for checks, I said that he probably knows that he can't win this fight and all this fight will be is a check. This fight will be his biggest payday, and win or lose this fight will get Ortiz some new fans and open up more opportunities for Victor.
