I bet when Floyd's criminal and civil defense lawyers saw that father/son clash, they were like CHA CHING!!! MORE BILLING HOURS CHARGED TO THEIR SELF-DESTRUCTIVE CLIENT!!
Unfortunately, their only option of defense is to claim that this was for "promotion" of the fight and all part of a marketing strategy in "creating" Floyd Jr.'s public persona as the "bad boy".
Uhhhh....good luck with convincing judges and juries of that!! LOL Either way, Floyd's lawyers get PAID!!!Comment

Look what Bernard Hopkins tweeted THEN REMOVED. Thank god for RE-TWEETING!! Since Bernard is VP of Golden Boy (Floyd's current promoter), I bet he was forced to removed his tweet. But it's still the most honest thing I've ever read about Floyd!!

As far as this being some kind of staged act; At first it seemed to have been, until things started to escalate, to where passions began to run high and got out of control. I think Sr's. problem is that he cannot bear the fact that Floyd, Jr. is a not a little boy anymore but a grown man, who no longer needs him to hold his hand. Floyd Sr. still wants to control and take over his son's life but Money May won't let him and this hurt and frustrates Sr. to no end. This was the main reason behind their split back in 2000, when Floyd Jr. fired Floyd Sr. first as his manager and then later as his trainer, because Sr. was beginning to question Floyd's life decisions; Especially in regards to his crew and the circle of friends he was hanging with at the time. Likewise, Sr. wants his son to learn from the mistakes, that he has made in the past, so he won't have to repeat them himself but so far Jr. refuses to heed this advice as well. I understand that Floyd Sr. may not be the right person, to try and give Floyd Jr this kind of advice, because he hasn't led a very exemplary life either. However, sometimes a parent must learn to let go and let their children make mistakes on their own. Jr. bragged but he is LIAR !! YOU can't say what he did and avoid fighters or duck fighters like Cotto, Like Margo, Like Clottey, like Pacman, you have to take on ALLLLLLLLLLLL COMERS and he will not do this. When Ali boasted he fought ALLLLLLLLLL COMERS !!!!! He got better and better, jr. wouldn't make a pimple on ALI's @$$ !!!!!!
