I love how *****s like you AVOID da main Question posed by Ortiz's statement.

Name just one top contender in the Welter weight divison in the last 6-7 years that jr. has fought ?

When you finally come up with your answer then you have to ask yourself ,,,,How can jr. really be pound 4 pound the best ?

Look at Calzache sp record , what 46 and "0" ???

Chavez jr has no losses and 40 wins

Chavez SR. didn't lose until over 80 fights

SSR no losses until 120 fights or so

Go ahead and name ONE dude ,,,,,,,,,,,if ya can,,,,haha

Eh... he's expected to say these things before the fight.

Let's see what he has to say at about 11pm on Sept. 17.

floyd has fought fights at the right time and that defines floyd and always will im not making excuses as to why those fighters got beat because you still have to get in there and beat them but im not fooled and neither is Ortiz he really is one of the best fighters to lace the gloves but he's wasted the end of his career away he should of been fighting at least twice a year even three times a year but no he goes on ''vacation'' every other year after one fight. If Floyd gets beaten by pacquiao then everyone forgets about floyd and thats why the fight isn't happening in plain terms.
no the fight is not happening because pac dont want to fight in the ring but in court. and he refuses to take a simple test and clear his name. in plain terms

You should have known that earlier so you can back out. Your are a victim. The Mayweathers are using other fighters name to remain afloat. Since it is already there and no more time of cancelling the fight... just be smart and beat the hell out of this chicken. We know that there will be only a few that are interested watching this fight but you can make those few people very happy if you win.

WEAK, and that last bit there is why i personally dont respect him as a fighter.
So why should Floyd fight at all if he is never gonna get credit?
41 fights and he can only get credit for beating Castillio?

It's always this fighter was overrated, washed up, too small, too young, etc.

Cotto and Margarito have worst records than Floyd and you praise them?
Who has Cotto beat that was an all time great?
Who has Margarito beat that was an all time great?
Who has Pacquaio beat that was an all time great?

Wasn't Hatton 43-0 and coming off a KO win over Castillio when Floyd fought him at welterweight?
              WELL,,, give you cudo's !!!

Is this your real answer ???? Oh my you don't mind falling into the LIONS DEN.

This is a piss poor answer. Don't you remember that Hatton was small that Hatton was larger than Pac, that Pac had to come up in weight to fight Hatton , that Hatton did NO GOOD at WW and had to come down but he GOT SET UP BY JR ??????????????????????

Hatton was good in his weight but piss poor fighting a legit WW.

              WRONG ANSWER ,,,,,,buzzzer goes offf

YOU have to find a top contender in the day, I'll help :

              Cotto

              Margo

              Clottey

Pic one of those and tell us how Jr. fared against them. They were top contenders when Jr. fought "LITTLE" HATTON,,

              go ahead

right and how can this dude say he think floyd is just a hype job. he said he wanted to beat floyd when he was a little kid. so he thinks about beating fighters that are losers? that makes him a big loser. and he contradicts himself. floyd does not need the motivation. he will give vic a beating. its still win win for vic, the experience will be in valuable

its so funny that *******s can only point to top stank fighters to claim thats who floyd avoided. but boxing fans can point to plenty of fighters that pac avoided from multiple wt classes and promoters. and pac could have fought "little hatton" before floyd. but true to formula he had to wait until hatton was beat before fighting him.

You can't judge Floyds career off one weight class idiot.
He fought the guys put in front of him and the guys that made the most $$$$ since.

Thats why they are called prize fighters because they fight for a prize. Get it?
The guys Floyd fought are the same guys everyone else is fighting.

Floyd fought Mosley and so did Cotto,Pacquaio, and Margarito.
Floyd fought Marquez and so has Pacquaio.
Floyd fought Judah and so has Khan, and Cotto.
Floyd fought Hatton and so did Pacquaio and Castillio
Floyd fought Baldomir and so did Alvarez.

If your gonna smash Floyds resume then you gotta smash Cotto,Margarito,Pacquaio,Martinez, Kahn, Bradley, and every other active fighter.

Floyd style is made to order for lefties. Before the Mosley fight the only guys to really hurt Floyd was Judah with a straight left and actually dropped him with a right hook. The other fight was against Chop Chop Corley with a right hook. Those guys were good fighters but not on the level of a Pacquiao... The test has not been an issue since May of 2010 when Manny agreed to all of Floyd's test which he shouldn't have done, (the state athletic commissions should make the rules) not an uneducated family from Grand Rapids. They know what will happen if they get in the ring with Manny. They heard Manny's complaint about he felt that he was weak for the first Morales fight because he had to give blood the day of the fight because his results were misplaced and they started screaming test. Know one asked for test or suspected Manny of being on PEDs before the Mayweathers. If you were saying he was a cheat before then, than I have no problem but if you only say he is a cheat because Floyd says so than that's bordline B*** **** because only women gossip and rumor like that. You can't fight 40 times under the rules and then say the rules need to be changed because Pac is just to good to be true... Bottom line a 34, 35 by the time they fight flat-footed Mayweather would be KOed in 5 by a fast hard-punching lefty like Pac. I think they saw what I saw in the Ortiz vs. Berto and Maidana fights and they think that they will get him because he is a sucker for the right hand and his defense is VERY suspect. But we never know. As a black man I deploy Floyd's antics and stunts but what I can't take away from him and his family is their knowledge of the sport. Not fighting Cotto 05 - 08, Margarito 05 - 08, or Mosley after the Vargas fights (he only wanted to give him 4 months to recover from two fights agianst Vargas at 154 and then come back to 147 in 4 months). Not fighting Tszyu at 140 and etc. etc. Floyd would have been the favorite and probably won all of those fights but they were just too risky. And fighting Pac past 33 years-old is just too risky. I would like to believe that Ortiz has a shot but knowing and respecting the Mayweathers' knowledge of the sport. They wouldn't take the fight if they felt Ortiz had more than a 15% chance of winning. So I'll have to pick Mayweather in this one.
Thanks for a good honest POST !!!!!!!
