Bob Arum, Oscar, etc., they do great at marketing their OWN guys. But that's not helping the sport. So what I mean that it doesn't matter who the promoter is, it's the way boxing is?
they need to stop trying to make and sell there manufactured stars and work together to give the fans what they want....

we are the boss cause we are paying to watch there ****....

i think it can change with the right guy at the right time and he would have to have the right attitude.

I think there is a female boxing site, but mostly concerned with articles and reports. I've looked at it a few times, but I thought it was pretty poor. They could do a lot better, but when the only guys willing to do the work are not good at it, that is what you get.

When I was growing up it was commonplace for the worst guy on the team to be the main mover. the guy who held everything together, who did the donkey work who got everybody going......Probably still hasn't changed all that much. Volunteers don't come out of the woodwork.

Well I know for a fact that Arum and Top Rank puts on a promotion ever y Saturday night here in Central America because I see it regularly. And only some of th guys are Top Rank.

However what's wrong with that. Guys join Top Rank because of what they can do for them and they do their best, and if they find they can put on an in-house show that's a good show and pay both fighters a good sum, they do it. Why not. They fight against other promoter's fighters too. You see it all the time. Very few fighters complain about Top Ranks treatment of them, only a few congentital well known soreheads. They're the best promoters on the planet and didn't get there by being shady, regardless of what the conspiracy lunatics have bizzing in their skulls..

Im 23, white, and live out in the middle of no where. Love to hunt and fish. Im the fucking key demographic for MMA, and I fucking love boxing. I started out 3-4 years ago liking MMA and slowly switched, now I hate MMA..

It's only a matter of time guys.

I personally know way more people that follow Boxing compared to MMA. But I do live in Oxnard and the population here is like 75% Mexican.

I know a few people that follow MMA, but overall it hasn't really caught on here.
